Another Costco MRE, but now in my home microwave: Giovanni Rana chicken carbonara in bacon sauce over tagliatelle, with steamed broccoli on the side

Got a notice from Costco that the chicken supplier to these Giovanni Rana meals had an oopsie with Listeria contamination, and to return unused meals for refund. We ate two about 10 days apart.

The incubation period for Listeria can vary from three to 70 days.

What I did think was impressive is thank that Costco was able (and willing) to check all customer receipts for September and October (so far) and directly contact those who had purchased the products. I seriously doubt that we would have been aware of it otherwise.

Almost bought those like 6 times. Guess I dodged a bullet on that one.
