Sweet! I have halibut in my freezer too. And cod. And salmon. And sea bass. We eata lot of fish. :lol:This reminds me (sort of except it's served in a bowl) of a dish this restaurant in Boynton Beach, FL (Snappers) serves.
It used to be called Halibut Paso Robles. It was a beautiful piece of fish served over white beans with spicy chorizo with fried potato straws piled on top. It was outstanding.
If the restaurant is still open it's worth a try. They may have substituted the fish but back in the day it was Halibut.
