What did you have for dinner?

I had the house to myself last night. Stopped by the Fresh Market and grabbed a NY Strip. I lit the Egg and let it get hot, but instead of putting the grate on it I tossed the Strip directly on the lump charcoal. About 3 minutes on each side. Very tasty with a nice crust. No charcoal dust at all. I guess it gets so hot it doesn't stick.

If you get round steak that has been run through the tenderizing machine by the butcher and cook it with the cream of mushroom soup recipe it is yummy as hell as well.

I don't even see that at the store anymore. My mom made country style steak (dip the steak in flour with s&p and fry it in a skillet, make a gravy with the drippings and put it in the oven til the rest of dinner was ready :drool:), and swiss steak (it had tomatoes, like tomato gravy almost, didn't like it as much.) I can't remember what she called that kind of steak though?
