21st Century racism on display. I'm sure this is what Martin Luther King Jr died for.

I see 75 people have viewed this thread and I'm betting LG, IP, Volatile, and UTGibbs are part of that 75.

Where's your outrage guys?

I'm sorry. Is he not Christian enough to deserve your wrath. Not white enough? Not Foxnews enough? Not Tea Party enough?

You guys know as well as I do that if Glenn Beck or Rush or Bush had of made a comment about "my people" while talking about the white race you guys would be going ape chit on here about how conservatives are racist and how they finally slipped up and showed their true colors.

Your silence in this thread is deafening.

Sadly, though, I expected it.

I see nothing wrong with his using the term "my people" in talking about the Civil Rights movement.

I do, however, see a great error in his response. He deflects the current issue, voter intimidation in 2008, by comparing it and belittling it against the hardships faced by African-Americans throughout the Civil Rights struggle.

Holder is an embarrassment to the legal community, ranking right up there with Fred Phelps.

You can't trust anybody with a porn-star mustache.

After viewing the video, this is exactly how I feel.

The "my people" thing is sensationalism. I see no reason for outrage. But instead, be angry that he danced around the subject.

My name was directly mentioned in NEOCON's post and you came in, adding nothing of substance to the conversation, and backing him up. How else was it to be taken? Seems like the only appearances you make in the politics forum are ones bashing anyone left of you. :hi:

Lefties assume all right-wingers are racist at heart. It's just how it is.

Lefties?????????:birgits_giggle:

No, that's not how it is. I realize in your bubble it may appear that way, but it's not an assumption that is shared by all members of the Democratic party. Not even close, BTW
