I could see Darren Myles sliding into that role if needed. Hopefully, it won't be needed.

Yeah, Myles does have the size and speed to play a run support SS... but I thought he got shifted to CB?


Did I get bad gouge? I'm sure the lack of run-stopping off the corners has worn down on MK.

He hasn't been moved to CB yet, but depending on what happens down the stretch, the plan is to at least give him a look at CB during the spring.

We do need another corner badly. Berry was used that way this year, b/c he had to be due to linebacker injuries and lack of playmakers on defensive line. Berry is a really good run supporter so getting him closer to the line helped. I too wish we would have been able to let him play centerfield with Jackson more, but it just wasn't in the cards for us this year.
