Can’t technically NIL pay for a players school costs even if they aren’t “on” scholarship. Seems like there could be ways to get around the Pruitt crap

Nico causes us to slow down. Our offense has zero ways to move the defenses eyes, we rely on going fast. Think of 2022. Offense was humming and we all loved it. When we got inside the 15, we slowed down and it became harder to score.

We were more deadly from the 40 than we were from the 15. Not because we could not run the ball, because we slowed down and gave the defense time to call blitzes, set up against our formation, and read our offense.

The offense the last 2 years looks a lot like the 2022 offense inside the red zone, common demoninator is the speed...

Name a WR we have gotten from the portal? It is late December and we don't have anyone yet. I do some focus on OL and give coaches kudos there with the Arizona pickup and hopefully that Northwestern guy.

That is thinking outside of the box. They could be "walk-ons" being paid by NIL.

To be honest our wide receivers next season could be absolute dudes. I trust Heupel. Our receivers this year weren't exactly world beaters and neither were the backups...

If Nico develops, the offense will be pretty good. Freshman improve a lot between Freshman and Sophomore years.

He might improve, but we will not have an offensive line. He can't run forever. Going to get hurt. We're lucky that Ohio state didn't seriously hurt him.

I am asking a serious question but why would a top talented wide receiver come here.

As of now, both Nico and CJH do not appear to be able to run an efficient or close to effective offense. Sampson was eve one bright light and his spin move gained a lot of his yards.

Yes we win 10 games but that was only because our defense held teams to 20. We had multiple games were we didn’t score a single touchdown in the 1st half.

Other than NIL, what WR sees a reason to come here? And please don’t personally attack me. Give me an actual reason why.

Not me we had the team especially upfront. Now we losing it all. Entire online gone… entire dline gone.. wr room has 2 guys on scholly. You have to have depth and good depth to win championships. I’ve been saying for years and it’s the reason Tennessee cannot get over the hump
