What exactly does our offense look like next year?

Not me we had the team especially upfront. Now we losing it all. Entire online gone… entire dline gone.. wr room has 2 guys on scholly. You have to have depth and good depth to win championships. I’ve been saying for years and it’s the reason Tennessee cannot get over the hump

Karic and Heard will be back. Moe can play OG or C. Some thought that Sanders will play as a freshman as well. We’re going to have a lot of guys with another year of S&C as well. They would like to add another OL but feel pretty good about where we are.

WR? Matthews is the only guy we wouldn’t want to lose. They will attempt to keep him in the fold and add someone like Branch via the portal. Brazzell and Matthews are probably your starters on the outside next year. Branch in the slot would be awesome.

You know if you’re going with the condescending route maybe know a little more about what you’re speaking about. We have several dline coming back. We’re still close on numbers to our limit with incoming freshmen. Maybe look up LWS’s roster thread and look at the actual numbers. Or look like a DA is cool too.

The Vols did manage to beat Florida and bama this year. I know there has been years if not decades we couldn’t say that. And when they show out, they hit the portal and end up somewhere else. This is the version of CFB we are stuck with now. If a player has a decent season especially if it’s a freshman having a good season….they gone.

Was it better under Hooker? Yes. Does it look like absolute trash? 4th in SEC is far from where we have been in years before CJH.

Because they were kicking onside kicks against Kent State and calling timeouts late against UTEP. We went a month without scoring a 1st half point in SEC play.

We have no idea what our football roster will look like until the Spring Portal is closed. then we will be able to begin Summer workouts with a know talent level.

I mean Heupel hasn’t demonstrated he can field an offense right? Heupel has forgotten more about offense than everyone in this board, including you combined.

Answer this seriously. Did you see our secondary being this much improved? Yeah I am sure you will say you did. But most, including myself, thought we would be screwed in the secondary. Lo and behold what happened? You and some others are insufferable.

Didn't see the defense playing well? Then you weren't looking closely enough. Tennessee's defense has gotten better statistically each and every year of the Heupel era. It's been on an uptrend that has yet to stop.

On the other hand the offense has been going the opposite direction since 2022. Worse and worse every year.

But we have an offensive genius as a head coach, so how can that be? How can Tennessee have an air raid offense but lead the league in rushing? Where did the tempo go? Where are the explosive plays?

Perhaps it's because good defense is good defense. There's no gimmicks on defense. Perhaps the sideline to sideline spread offense is a gimmick that has been figured out by good teams and won't work anymore. Perhaps this offense won't work unless you have multiple NFL level talents on the field at the same time. Not just a great QB but also great WRs and great OLs every single year or the offense completely breaks down.

We can't know for sure but the data speaks for itself.
