Borrowed from a friend but is absolutely 100% truth....

What happened to America? The America I know would have helped you build your house, helped you plow your fields, raise your barn, and lifted you up in any way they could. Even the smallest gesture was one of love and kindness when people in the community were in need.

Now Americans want you to fail. They pride themselves in standing in your path, being an obstacle, and having a role, ANY ROLE, in taking you down.

This whole concept and narrative of "if you are not with us, you are against us and therefore the enemy" has got to stop. It is truly unAmerican.

The left loves to use the fallacy of Arguing to Emotion. They know emotion can "win" every time (in their own minds). They love to shame you because you dont care about 80,000 deaths enough to stay home and wear a mask. Yet they did not give one *** about 66,000 deaths last year, and every year before it as evidenced by no Stay at Home and not wearing masks. They will also not do it again next year.

All of this is optics and the left loves optics...well except when it comes to Joe Biden.

Not surprised to a leftist the concept of helping others and being happy at others success is infuriating and really a foreign concept. So sad the left has turned into the part of hate, murder and racism. 100% fact, it is no longer debatable.

There were pockets of America which existed as your friend remembers nostalgically. But there was also a lot of strife. Disparity was rampant. Groups indifferent to the violated rights of others abounded.

The op usually claims to be nonpartisan right before bashing the left and only the left. Same type of person who says to respect the potus while secretly hoping no one goes back and finds their posts from 4-5yrs ago

I’ll go on record stating don’t respect the POTUS. In fact I’ll offer go ahead and bash him. I think he’s earned that.

However being continually obstructionist just to spite him and via him being proxy the country instead of working with him is beyond ridiculous.

And I’ll end by stating this applies to both parties.

Non-partisan in that the GOP is the party of stupid and the left is the party of evil.

We've gotten dumber and love being dumb. See proud Trump supporters. It's not Trump's fault. It's the idiots who continue to proudly support the clown.

The better question: Why don't qualified people run for POTUS anymore?

Leftists and Liberals aren't necessarily the same thing. JFK was probably the latter, but not the former.

Today's Leftists are why Trump stickers can't be put on car bumpers without triggering vandalism. Leftists are extremists and are a scourge.

Zeppelin needed an example. He used the term liberal when the OP had said the left. Leftists are extremists. Democrats and liberals should distance themselves from them.
