What do you all think our record would be if Wilcox was still our DC? Further proof that Sal is Dooley's Dave Clawson... It is what it is though

Much better.

But it is perfectly acceptable to judge Dooley on losing 9/10th of the coaching staff in the off-season.

I'd say 2-4 more wins right now.

Florida is W, Georgia is a W Mississippi State is a W South Carolina is a W and Missouri is a W

We have one loss to alabubba....

This isn't idealistic it's more based on the fact that they are the only one to blow us out...

I'd say at least 7-3.

Losses to Bama and probably Fla.

Had a good chance to win at UGA and Miss St. Had a great chance at the end to win at USCjr and somehow found a way to lose to Mizzou.

His Defense at Washington hasn't been much better.

I think the Fla game is a lock with Wilcox. All we needed in that game was a "bend-don't-break" approach. We had the freakin' lead halfway through the 3rd, and Muschamp throws his cards on the table with the fake punt. Then, the UT defense of the season showed up for the rest of the game. Tragic.

i dunno, i think we would've beaten them all besides bama and uf...msu, uscjr, and mizzou just needed one or two possessions of defense to win

I'm getting pretty sick of people saying this...how quickly some forget that Wilcox's heralded D was made to look like child's play against an ex-HS QB gone receiver from Kentucky last year. Ran the same plays over, and over, and over again - still couldn't manage to defend it.

5 - 6 just like it is now. Wilcox wasn't the greatest DC. Maybe he gets us 1 extra win 6 - 5.

No... Clawson was a victim of Fulmer's mess. He had one season when he thought he'd have 3 to recruit players and install his system. UT's OL's weren't even smart enough to play weak/strong rather than left/right if that tells you anything. We did that in Jr High ball.

Sal has been plain awful at EVERYTHING.

To your main point, I think they are a 2 or maybe 3 loss team. With some breaks, maybe better. The only two games the O has struggled in are UF and Bama.

Honestly I think we win every game but the Bama game if he was still here. UF would've went down to the wire. Every other game with any defense we would've won. The offense is one of the best that we've had in a long time.

His defense at UW has been saddled with the 99th ranked offense in the nation. To put it in perspective, UW's offense is as bad as our defense and UW has still beaten 2 Top 10 teams.

I think Wilcox leaving is the best thing that happened to us. Cause if he had stayed we wouldn't have known the true Dooley

Wow! Your memory is better than mine. I was thinking that Kentucky just scored one touchdown and one field goal against us last year. Guess I'm slipping. All the time, I thought that our offense just scoring one touchdown against Kentucky got us beat.

The way the season has gone I could see a loss to bama, maybe Gators, but we scored on everyone else. hate to say it , but it the D has not been good since Chavis left

And that D only gave up 10 points with 7 of those coming on a gift from the ref after Ky fumbled and they didn't overturn it. The defense didn't lose that game. The offense no showing yet again did.

I'll take a D that gives up only 10 points all day long, 365 days a year. Hell, if we had a D that only gave up that many points this year we would've won most of our games going away.
