Show me all the 4-5 Stars at Boise St and remind me again what their record is and has been over the years.

Boise State University: BroncoBlue.com

Yes...it's not the SEC but last I looked it takes 11 players on each side of the ball to play a game; not a couple of 4-5 stars players.

i'm not going to argue this, because really it isn't worth arguing. everybody knows unless you recruit well in the sec your not going to get to the top. the only part i agree with is that yes boise st is not in the sec. give me what satan and muschump are doing any day over jones right now. not fair to compare because butch just took the job, just saying.

Hunter will go first round, if he declares. There was a rumor saying he was declaring, but I don't think it has been confirmed officially yet.

I don't know about the other 2, but if Bray declares I see him going in the 3-4 round range. CP may sneak in the first round, but probably end up in the second.

As far as recruits, looks like most are receptive to Jones. He is going out and visiting some of the big recruits we are in on. He has dropped a few that we have had committed, starting to hear some names of some recruits that we weren't in on before. Couple that were high on Auburns radar, one that was actually committed but has since started looking at us. Helps that we have 2 of their coaches.

none of the three are going first round

true but i don't see that getting us many wins, not in the SEC. read on rocky top talk that bradley, campbell and skipper will likely not end up here. to me those are 3 quality guys we need.

you are right ...but I dont think he will be a bad recruiter with a full year. I also think he has enough talent on the team now to do a good job...not great but good . So maybe a 1 year lull in recruiting can be absorbed.

These are just my opinions. I am not a sunshine pumper . Complained about the Dooley hire after watching his first game. I feel like Butch can coach and will do his homework so he can adapt his game to the SEC

Ok...I'll take Boise St out of the mix and put in Utah. I think everyone remembers little Utah who everyone said cannot compete with the Big Boys and didn't deserve a shot or even a Top 10 Ranking. Of course Alabama knows Utah from the 2009 Sugar Bowl where they got smacked 31-17

In their 2008 Class they got (1) 5-Star, (2) 4-Star, (6) 3-Star and (6) 2-Star - Class Rank - 65th

In their 2007 Class they got (0) 5-Star, (0) 4-Star, (2) 3-Star, (14) 2-Star (2) 1-Star - Class Rank - 67th

Care to look at all the 4-5 Star players Alabama got in 2007 and 2008? I mean on paper and based by "Stars" Alabama should've wiped the field with Utah St in the 2009 Sugar Bowl.

Utah -
2006 was 8-5
2007 was 9-4
2008 was 13-0 including beating Alabama in the Sugar Bowl

Now what's that thought behind you can only win with 4-5 Star players? Someone needs to explain that to Utah and Bosie St. it's amazing what Coaching can actually do

Hunter should go ,
Bray and cp should stay and next year they would be the most hyped tandem!:clapping:

none of the three are going first round

CP will be a first round choice, maybe the first receiver taken over all. Hunter will be second to early third round and Bray will be third or later if he decides to go. If Bray goes this year, it will be a tragic mistake on his part. I don't think UT would miss him that much; however, I think the difference in his NFL future would be tremendous. If he goes this year, he will likely play one contract as a third string QB somewhere and be a one and done. Whereas, if he stays, gets serious, and works hard he will not only increase his draft status drastically, but he will also have the opportunity to mature into a NFL quality player with a more lucritive future. As I see it he has all to gain by staying and UT would really not benefit greatly.

bray can get the hell out of TN for all I care!! he played like s&^% most of the season and I cannot BEAR to watch another year of his antics...we need a fresh face at QB...maybe we will have some recruited at QB and we have a battle next spring to see who CBJ will pick to lead UT back to the promised land!!!
