What is the latest on Davante Bourque?

Unless it is something like a sick family member "back home", I'm sick of us being the only team in America that has the constant issue. Hey coach where is such and such player? Oh, he's back home dealing with back home issues. You know what? Stay the eff home then. Unless someone has died or is sick.

I'm most certain it happens elsewhere, you just happen to follow UT much more closely.

Looks like he runs too high and his footwork is rough. In other words, nothing we didn't already know about him.

He'll be a bit of a project for Graham, but he's got a lot to work with. I don't really expect too much out of him this year. He'll get there, though.

Haven't heard much regarding Hill and Smith. Any comments regarding them and their progress coming out from anywhere from the first few days?

I'll respond I guess since you wasted the time to ask. A balker is my android version of baller since my touch screen is too damn small for my fat ass thumbs..........

hahaha I understand...my bad...just thought it was some football term I wasn't aware of

One thing I saw in those videos is the difference between the freshman backs and the veterans on the bag drills. The vets were all precise, and the young guys looked uncoordinated and hesitant, but Q Watson seemed to have the quickest/best feet of the three youngens.

This historically means he likes the weed...

Family issues as he has a kid and stuff is going on with him back home in Louisiana. I think we shouldn't talk much more about it and just hope he can get past it and everything works out back home.

Que Watson definitely looked light years ahead in the drills, doesn't mean a whole lot though
I thought the same thing. Q is a lot like CJ2K...keeps his weight just slightly forward and a natural bend at the waist and knees. Borque was nearly standing upright during those drills. Not good, IMO.

You my friend need to step away from the computer. You are personally too wrapped up in this stuff. People go through things all the time and kids change their minds. This stuff happens at schools all across the country not just us. Lighten up and let go of the panic button!!!

Nice. Kid struggles early and random, anonymous internet poster calls him a pothead.
Funny thing is that if you had to put your name behind the post, you wouldn't have said anything.

Some of our fans suck.

Should we have been concerned with the way his recruitment went? I know LSU straight up told him he was gonna switch positions.
Well if you look at their depth chart at rb their not in desparate need for a freshman to come in and make an impact

What's with the fascination of wanting posters to put their name out there?

Because this is a kid in his first days at college, and you have brave posters basically calling him a pothead with zero evidence.

There is no fascination. Just a fact that many people wouldn't run their mouths so much if they had to put their name behind a post like we are discussing.

18 yr olds are easy picking for the anonymous internet crowd and it's weak as hell when their character is attacked with no basis.

So you know her name, why don't you give her your name?

That evens it out. Then we'll check to see if you bash her, her son, or any other player for that matter.

I don't know her name and I never bashed Bourque. Just stated a fact in a thread. He did struggle with that drill. I'm not the poster making assumptions about his personal life.

That's none of my business.

Signed, Adam Powell

He is in good hands now. If he is any good, coach Graham will know. He has some good competition. GBO!!!
