Waiting to see what the University of Tennessee will do to stop this Maelstrom. The football program has become a cespit and the laughing stock of the nation. The anticipation is forlorn and building with greif. It appears that some of the newer fans have become apathetic and forgiving of this coaching nightmare. I, as many others,
would just like to see that the Administration is not content with this new sub subpar performance criteria.
Time will tell....it would be nice to see the Vols become a real SEC competor once again.

Amen! Should have had a clause in contract that stated if he didn't reach at least 8 wins by 3rd season he would lose job ....period!

From a kid in the 70's and until now I have seen peaks and valleys in regards to our football program but none ever this low. But don't get down, better times are very close ahead. We just need to be patient the next two weeks, cheer these seniors on and know better days are ahead. Good luck to Coach Dooley in future endeavors and Vol Fans cheer up. I'm glad I was born a Volunteer and on the worst day it's better to be a Volunteer than any other fan. Go Vols, stay positive and know this too shall pass.

Maybe, just maybe, Gruden is given a choice of the Vols or Cleveland and Hart is waiting for an answer. There should be a really good reason for waiting on a decision about the current coaching staff.

Things are very confusing. I didn't personally like him but bring Doug Dickey back Hart can't hold a candle to him.Hart has too many Bama ties which scares me with Kirby Smart out there.We seldom pay the big bucks we hire with hopes of over achieving.
