in 1000 Years; no one will remember Trump or Harris, Democrat or Republican, LBGQT rights, tariffs, government funded healthcare, or cultural Hot button issues.
For the future of humanity; what really matters is that Elon is in effect on the ballot. Due to his polarizing positions in the past year; the outcome of tomorrow determines his future and the future of his company SpaceX. What we decide tomorrow is; do we remain trapped on earth, or does humanity colonize the stars? If Trump wins, there will be cities on Mars within 20 years. If Harris wins; we probably don’t go to Mars for a century; just to spitefully punish Musk.
This is the historical pivot point equivalent to Ferdinand and Isabella deciding whether or not to allow Columbus to take three ships and sail Westward into the unknown.
Tomorrow we vote on the future of humanity. It may not matter to you; but it matters a whole heck of a lot to the future.

I think it's about the future of a free election. I think the dim powers-at-be will have kamala push for more justices and to make DC a state to solid a dem majority, get rid of the filibuster and eventually the electoral college. Only hope is that it can slowed down by a gop house majority.

If Republicans win the Senate tomorrow, they should call the dimocrat bluff and introduce a vote to indeed eliminate the Fillibuster. Would be absolutely HILARIOUS to watch the Dems have to do an embarrassing and instantaneous 180 on one of their most often repeated demands 😂😂😂

No matter what happens tomorrow we can rest assured we have elected the wrong man or woman for the job.

We have to demand better!
That’s one reason we have to let Elon be Elon. If things ever get too bad here: the Martian Republic may be our only home. And I am not being facetious here. Just like the Pilgrims fled England to avoid an overbearing Crown, we may one day give to flee the same

Well we men gotta claim Mars.
Women can have Venus.
Elon can have Uranus.

He gets this reaction but you just gloss right over "if Trump wins we will have Martian colonies in 20 years" lol.
who knows if we actually hit the benchmarks to make it happen, but right now SpaceX's plan is uncrewed Mars landing in 2026, and a crewed launch 2 years after. with the stated goal of a "colony" in 20 years.

spaceX has a better track record than most when it comes to hitting goals, even those that seem crazy.

If we had built off of the Apollo missions instead of abandoning exploration there isn't a reason we couldn't have had a colony on Mars by the mid-late 90's.

Every single movie about the planet Mars sucks azz with the exception of Total Recall.
