What is your degree in and did you graduate from UT

In which genre(s) are you most interested/experienced?

Far from my degrees, I enjoying playing and writing.

I certainly don't aim for one style or another, but my 2 favorite non-pop styles are probably Impressionism and Expressionism (contradictory, I know), and it shows in my work. My professor said my latest piece sounds like Debussy and Bartok are tag-teaming it.

I don't really like one ensemble over another, but the smaller, the easier. My last couple pieces have been full orchestra, so I'm getting a little burnt out on that. I need to add some vocal and brass music to my portfolio.

What do you like to dabble in? I have no idea how old you are, but do you use notation and/or sequencing software to compose?

EDIT: I don't have many real recordings, but here's one of my English horn and piano piece. It obviously really really really slants towards Impressionism.

I'm about to attend Harvard later this year for a few of their Executive Education programs at their business school. I bet my little certificate of completion will be worth more than the 3 degrees I already have.

I develop predictive models for life insurance underwriting for an insurance company. Pretty sweet gig as boring as it sounds, haha.

Friend of mine sells those models to insurance companies. He works for Lexis Nexis

I work in the predictive analytics field - business forecasting.

Btw, what kind of models do you primarily use?
