Martin is a dead man walking. He didn't realize it, but he was fired the night that Florida beat us 67 - 41.....He is finishing out the season, but the decision was made weeks ago......

If all the teams Florida beats or has beatin fires their coach for that loss then BP will have his pick of next stops.

Living on that Kentucky line also. Growing up with Kentucky fans in Tennessee sucked. They would root for Kentucky in basketball and Tennessee in football. I never got it.

My whole family is UK fans. Hell my uncle was a walk on at Kentucky for one year until he transferred. Me and my brother are the only ones that ain't UK fans. My mom loved Bruce Pearl but my dad said he was a prick but he also said the same thing about Calapari. Lol He thinks that we shouldn't trust Pearl anymore but I still thought he was crazy. My brother is an Alabama fan and he said that he'd love to have Bruce Pearl as a coach cause he's a proven winner. A lot of mixed emotions about Pearl at my house.

Of course Kentucky fans are going to claim they don't know the coach that gave them their biggest loss in the series. Not much credibility there.

I've been lucky pro sports wise the last 3 years, OKC, Niners, and Giants in baseball. Always been a west coast guy for some reason, followed the Thunder from Seattle. I'm a closet Lions fan in football.

I originally thought Pearl could be this year's Gruden. Former coaches at Tennessee, ties to the area, very successful. The similarities stopped there, though. Unlike GA Jon Gruden, Bruce actually was the HC of the UT basketball team for several years. We have already hired Bruce Pearl once. It's not unthinkable to do it again. Furthermore, Pearl could likely be had for cheap - similar to the contract WKU gave Petrino where he ended up paying them to coach there for a year.

The same way UT fans are still butthurt about Meeks dropping 54 on them when it was one of the worst teams we've had in decades?

Wait until next year if Martin is still here. That could be our worst team with him as coach. I see a lot of empty seats at TBA if Martin stays. If we do not hire Pearl then you better pay someone that will win and get the fans excited. To start with I would be excited if (booger) Cheeks was gone.
