I have always said the Alabama plays by a different set of rules in the SEC. And Sankey proved it with this incident.

Now Nick is trying to get his 1-7 schedule so he can schedule more cupcakes to get his coaching record. If the rest of the conference allows that happen I am over SEC football.

I live on the Tennessee/Alabama state line. I’ve got two daughters. Oldest went to Bama on full scholarship. Youngest wisely chose Tennessee. Bout half my family are gumps and the other half (smart ones) are vols. The hate doesn’t start or end this week. It’s year round. I dislike Alabama as a program as much as anybody. If we were playing checkers, I want bama to lose. If we’re playing anything, I want bama to lose. GBO!!

Same here. My oldest niece went to UAT (that ticks off the Gumps so that’s what I use). The youngest (the wise one) went to UAB. The middle one got the hell out of Bama and went to Middle Tennessee (the best of the bunch). I told my sister that the only redeeming quality about Alabama was the Huntsville-Decatur metro area and it SHOULD have been part of Tennessee.

We may or may not get them this year in Tuscaloosa but football programs are like stocks; they’re either trending up or down. And we’re going up, they’re leveling off and about to go down. The gumps know it and we do too. They are nervous (I live in amongst them). Their entitlement is almost over. Go vols!

Tickets are “dirt-cheap” on the secondary market, by today’s standards, for this game, which tells me Bama fans are down and out. We need to gobble them up and make our presence known in Bryant-Denny.

There’s a solid amount of us in this area. Easily the 3rd most repped fanbase behind Bama and AU. Last year we hung the TN state flag up on our house Sunday after getting back from Knoxville and it’s remained up ever since. Hoping it rides its rightful place out for another year.
