Hey! Watch it!Alabama fans are like that 40-year-old woman who has been beautiful her entire life and always gotten what she wanted. Now she's looking in the mirror and seeing all the wrinkles and realizing that not as many boys are calling as they used to. They had a good run. But now they're past their prime and coping with that knowledge is more than they can handle
Just got back from Panama City Beach.Appreciate it. I65 south is awful with tourists driving during peak months
-What have we become?
-Glad we are a Thug basketball school now.
-Tennessee fans celebrating for their qb’s throw, their WR saved their ass on that touchdown. Tennessee still sucks!
-Milroe is horrible, give Simpson a shot.
-I will get banned for this, but I’ll give credit where it’s due. Tennessee is legit.
-Defense sucks, offense sucks, please come back Nick!
-Losing to Tennessee sucks so bad.
-I hate these orange *************
-Tennessee never quit and we did. End of story.
-Need to get my Xanax upped with this team!
-Dangggggg..I bet Panini is rethinking their decision to endorse Jalen now with that NIL deal..
-I guess this is the spiral after a legendary coach leaves no matter how much talent he left behind.
-I don’t recognize this team at all since the UGA game, I just don’t get it.
-This loss was more embarrassing than Vandy given they gave us the game on a platter and we don’t take advantage
-UcheaT had 3 turnovers I remember. Down by 7 at half. It is time for someone to take the wheel
-Nico is the worst QB in the SEC and he out dueled Milroe. Unbelievable.
-Milroe has been injured for 3 weeks, did anyone really expect him to play better?
-Milroe has to go, he doesn’t have it.
-I cannot believe we lost to freaking Tennessee! They’re the worst team ever and we lost!
So, the players, though of a higher quality recruit rating than before NIL, are basically the same, but we as fans have altered our expectations. Shame on us for putting an unattainable burden upon these young folks upon whom we place our unrealistic dreams.I don’t dislike him and can see his potential, but the huge money is the elephant in the room that changes everything. If not for the crazy NIL fans would be much more patient and sympathetic. It is what it is and no amount of cliches changes it.
So, if you personally demanded a refund from Spyre for your portion of Nico’s “$8 million”, how big a refund check are we talking about? There would be one coming, right? You’re not upset that other people aren’t getting their money’s worth, are you?Everyone would probably be much more patient with Nico’s development if not for the $8 million. To whom much is given, much is expected and nobody cares that he’s a 20 YO RS freshman.
LOL
On Alabama's current trajectory, I don't know how DeBoer can have the confidence of the administration for a second year. The best predictor of future success is past success. The best predictor of improvement is past improvement. I can't think of any phase of the game I'd call an improvement from week 1 to week 7. On the contrary, I think this team looks worse in almost all ways. If that continues through the end of the season, Alabama will be sneak into a bowl game. This team sneaking into a bowl game would be catastrophic.

UF QB is a 19 y.o. true freshman with fewer weapons than Nico and has a higher QB rating. So, should we not expect more of Nico?Everyone would probably be much more patient with Nico’s development if not for the $8 million. To whom much is given, much is expected and nobody cares that he’s a 20 YO RS freshman.
I think it's more the hype than the money. Several prominent bloggers and podcasters were touting Nico as a Heisman candidate. IMO, that, more than anything, fueled unrealistic expectations. My expectations were not so high, but I expected much better than what we've seen so far.I don’t dislike him and can see his potential, but the huge money is the elephant in the room that changes everything. If not for the crazy NIL fans would be much more patient and sympathetic. It is what it is and no amount of cliches changes it.
