We have to keep the gas on, got conservative in 4th quarter last year and nearly lost it. Have to keep pressing. GBO.

Or they decided to give Florida no game film of our routes. Kind of like how we essentially ran base defense the entire time with very few shifts or blitz packages. Why show stuff you don’t have to? They did everything necessary to win.

You can look at it that way or say it’s AP. The game should have never been close either way. Worst game of CH time in Knoxville. We just played uninspired football on both sides of the ball. You only get 12 games a year to put stuff on tape. We should come out every game inspired and ready to play, no matter the opponent.

I don’t think we should be quite so cracked out, but maybe some of the enthusiasm, but taken down a notch or three might not hurt.. AP was maniacal 😂

My main takeaway from this whole situation is both schools are swearing their play calling is vanilla waiting for the other school. Lol. It’s just code for we looked like crap but it makes me feel better to say. Also, I don’t have confidence in Milton. I just don’t. Last year I found myself saying Hooker will find a way. This year I do not have that in me.

And with the rule change to the clock no longer stopping in first downs outside of 2 minutes, we can have a better balance of “hurry up to wear them down” and “take it easy and kill some clock”

Yes. Thats how we let South Carolina game get away from us. Cant let the home crowd have any hope of victory by the end of the first qtr. hit ‘em fast. Hit ‘em hard
