What other message boards are saying (Florida Edition)

I found some of these on the boards you mentioned @KTrain. I also find my material across all social media platforms week by week. I usually only gather the ones that stand out to me. There’s a **** ton of it out there for each team during game week, but most of them are pointless posts. I also don’t thank @Freak enough for an easy user experience here on Volnation. These other boards are a nightmare.

We played like garbage Sat night and still almost won an SEC night game on the road. A couple plays go differently and we win the game and are sitting at 5-0 and this is a whole different conversation.

I give Heupel the benefit of the doubt that he will figure something out with the offense. AND we're playing at home which is 100% different than playing on the road.

Might not be pretty, but Vols win Saturday.

It will be bad and probably should be because there goes the season. This is why I think we are going to show up with a sense of urgency that we haven't seen recently from this team.
Agreed. We've put ourselves in a position now where we have to beat either Alabama or Georgia while not slipping up against Florida and Kentucky.
After Saturday, I don't see it.

Huge difference playing at home vs in the road. They've only played one game on the road, and it was against an awful Mississippi state team. That game has less than half the amount of people that Neyland holds. Need a bounce back game from our secondary. I don't think Florida has the same caliber of receivers that Arkansas has though.

If the Vols lose this Saturday, Heup will have the same record as Butch did in year 4 against Florida.
The same record vs Florida or overall? I don’t recall Butch beating Bama, LSU, Clemson or winning the Orange Bowl or the Citrus Bowl, especially after dealing w/ the NCAA mess.

-UT will be licking their chops to take out years of frustration out on us and to avenge that ugly loss at Arkansas.

-We should win this one. They don’t have a Hendon Hooker to bail them out anymore.

-Tennessee doesn’t have any momentum at all, if we don’t win this game, we are failures.

-This kind of game is too much for a youngster like Nico. I say we win by a couple of scores.

-I think Tennessee losing to Arkansas was the dagger for their season, we should make Neyland our home once again.

-DJ Lagway should have a field day against that paper tiger Tennessee defense.

-Do we expect to see more blue in their **** hole stadium?

-This game scares me. We’ve recovered well from our slow start, but this kind of game makes you worry that this is Nico’s coming out party. Fingers crossed!

-This game is gonna be a war, Gators outlast them!

-Like their fans on Volnation, this Tennessee team is on the edge of implosion. Hope we blow those hicks out!

-Hopefully Butch Jones 2.0 never learns how to play to win. This will be our night in Knoxville. Go Gators!

-I don’t feel good about Saturday. It’s a night game and Neyland will be insane. I hope we can handle some adversity. Tennessee will not lay down.

-I hope Tennessee doesn’t turn around some things this week on the practice field. I still think they can be really good and it pains me to say that.

-Can we make minimal mistakes and overcome a hostile environment? Only time will tell my friends.

-I have always feared facing a team coming off a loss they shouldn’t have lost. Hope I’m wrong.

Heupel and his staff are looking to hang a 50 burger on the crocodiles,

No one should be surprised they are confident. They are to us what we are to Kentucky. They beat us even when they shouldn’t, and after last week they are going to be even more confident of that. Hopefully CJH figures something out and we shut them up on the field

CJH had 2 weeks to prepare for Arkansas and the team showed regression. I have my doubts that UT will resolve all of the issues in one week and be a different team on the field against Florida.

Halzle doesn't seem to be the type to mix it up enough to keep Florida on their heels and get the win.

Unfortunately, I feel like we're going to be in the running to save Napier's job this season.

That sounds much tastier than a 14 submarine or a 25 bologna. I was left hungry for the previous 3 weeks. Throw some bacon and cheese on that bun and let’s go for 70!

Seems they are confident for the most part.

Shouldn’t be, and most I know aren’t. We’re well aware of our coaching shortcomings. Even last week vs UCF, a game Florida was only the verge of blowing wide open, a game Spurrier or Meyer, or even Dan Mullen would have won by 40, turned into a 24-13 yawner. So even arguably the best UF performance since South Carolina last October, left Gator fans feeling blah.

Florida has some serious ass-kickings left on its schedule, TN is quite likely one of them.

Agree regarding the first part - @Miss State does NOT equal @neyland.

But I don’t agree regarding UF’s WR’s. They’ve been a nice surprise, especially Dike and Badger. Then you have a good possibility that Tre Wilson returns from injury.

Florida has plenty of spots to exploit, but their WR’s aren’t one of them.

How has UF's running game been this year?
