What other message boards are saying (Georgia Pre Game)

They’re pretty complimentary, thought it would be much worse. I dare say they are worried.
They’re a little down from that Ole Miss humbling. Don’t fall for that rat poison. Gotta show up ready to go. 😉

But yeah, I hear ya. Nice to see a little more levity from the dawg bunch. I’m sure my extended UGA family will still talk smack if they win though. Butt sniffing crotch scratching jerks, lol.

-Something is off with this team. It feeds off its leader, the QB. Beck isn’t a leader in any form and has never displayed emotion other than laughing at Rashada trying to help him. The team looks it just doesn’t care. Maybe NIL is partly to blame, maybe coaches - but even when we had bad coaches they fought. This goes deeper. And I’m starting to wonder if Beck is a cancer in the locker room.

-Tennessee will beat us by double digits if this o-line doesn’t drastically improve by Saturday.

-I’ve personally heard that Bobo and Beck have beef with one another and this is why we suck.

-This feels a lot like 2008, started out #1 and started out with Mel Kipers #1 QB. We’ll beat UMass but I’m not real sure about surviving Tennessee and GA Tech.

-It makes you wonder ....is their pressure to keep Beck the starter BECAUSE of NIL?

-Tennessee’s d-line is going to clown us. Vols big.

-I only have hope because Tennessee doesn’t have a good passing offense. Plus at home finally.

-We should rebound and win this game, if we don’t, Kirby has got some real explaining to do.

-At home in a Must WIN situation with Kirby personally handling the leadership/motivation. It’s a playoff game, so do or die.

-It does not matter whether Nico plays or not. We made the OM back-up QB look like Pat Mahomes. Like he was playing 11 on 3…

-If we don’t win , Kirby will just credit TN and say what a great team they have like the robot he is sometimes.

-I’m not real sure how we’re going to be able to block their d-line, they’re pretty much a carbon copy of Ole Miss.

-This will truly be a line of scrimmage game, Tenn likes to run the ball and then has a very solid defense. Anytime you haven't given up more than 19 in a single game this season, your D is pretty good regardless of schedule. After getting 10 against probably the best DL we have faced all season, a lot of media are going to pick the Vols because their front is very good as well. We need to find our top 5 OL and stick with them, the rotating chairs at OL?? Just pick the top 5. If someone gets hurt, then you swap them out. Hopefully home field will pay off, it has been so long since our guys have played a home game.

-My heart say we beat the Vols. My mind says that Tennessee’s defense wreaks havoc and Nico looks like a Heisman candidate.

-I felt pretty good about this game after the Texas win. I felt like we really turned a corner, but then yesterday happened. Tennessee has a really well coached defense and they don’t have to be elite on offense to win. I’m worried more than ever about this matchup. I hope my worries is just something I ate.

-We’ve dominated this series over the past years, but we don’t have that kind of team this. Buckle up and expect an old fashioned Jefferson Pilot Sports SEC War on Saturday.

-I think Kirby has made a mistake of going for recruiting first coaches rather than development coaches and it’s finally catching up.

-I believe we’re experiencing a bit of a downfall because we don’t spend as much as other programs.

-This isn’t going be the type of game it was in 2022, Tennessee is going to come in here locked in and it’s going to be a knock down drag out that will have you in a frenzy.

-You cannot deny how good of a defense that Tennessee has. They have not allowed more than 20 points in a game all year, that worries me.

-We better pick a game plan and stick to it because if we don’t, Rocky Flop is gonna embarrass us in Sanford.

-We aren’t winning anymore big games with Bobo calling plays. Make other plans now.

-Tennessee really hasn’t excelled in the offensive department but they haven’t had to. We’re going to have to hit big gash plays to have a shot. I just don’t know if Beck has it in him.

As a former resident of Macon, Georgia, I am a little pissed that Georgia does not play Mercer a lot in football, basketball or baseball to get a rivalry going.

Using the Ole Miss game as any kind of possible outcome is foolish. OM was at home. UGA coming back home is a whole different animal. It seems like OM DL is a little bit better at getting to the QB. Hopefully our DL reversed the trend of the past few games, especially the run defense.

That’s a surprising level of respect from the cockiest fanbase in college football. I clicked on this thread looking forward to reading more of their typical bluster, but it’s nice to see them a little deflated.

Well, even a blind dog can see our defense is stingy and is looking to feast on Beck. Our offense though... I mean we have what most anyone can see is a young but developing Heisman quality QB and Sampson is 1 away from breaking TN McEver's record from 1929 on total TDs in a season. He is one of only 9 in the SEC to ever have 20+ rushing TDs in a season. No way he doesnt add to that total. He may literally be one of the top RBs in college history. Let that soak in a sec.

But who knows if the rest of the Offense is going to show up. I know Cooper Mays will but the rest? really hard to say. Cant play O with only 3 guys.
I thought already broken the record

A little surprised at the respect for us.
Nothing to see here. They’re saying those things because they just lost and are licking their wounds. This board does the same thing after a loss - a large proportion of posters here were convinced Florida would run us out of Neyland Stadium after we lost to Arkansas. Then we win 3-4 straight games, and now we’re going to dominate everyone in our path. None of it is rational. I just hope we keep it close.
