Tennessee kept them from winning the national championship in that game. They never won a single game against Neyland in 21 tries. That 1950 game was a frigid snowy game. The headline from the game read "Neyland Jinx Over Wildcats is Good as Line and Weather Halt Babe Parelli."

From the game story "Tennessee's upset triumph over the nations third ranked team achieved before a crowd of 45.000 suffering in 15 degree weather maintained a long time mastery over the northern neighbor. Tennessee last lost to the Wildcats in 1935. The Wildcats have never beaten a team coached by Gen. Bob Neyland."

They never did. The following season Kentucky was ranked in the top 10 and we beat them 28-0 in Lexington. In seven games against Neyland, Bryant's Wildcats only scored 21 total points. In 21 meetings vs Kentucky the General's teams outscored them 311-39. Kentucky failed to score in 16 of the 21 meetings.

Our dominance over them is long and punishing on the Gridiron.

Which is made even funnier because one of LSU's best wins is Miss State.... which is also the win that makes UK fans think they are prepared for our offense... Even though we decimated LSU. So which is it... LSU is trash or Miss State is a good win?

Odds heavily favor you, but don't take them lightly. Their defense is very physical.

They do have a solid, physical defense but our tempo and spacing of the field seems to nullify that to a degree.

Last year UT couldn't stop their run game and they had W Robinson. Neither of those things are true now.

It's hilarious that they are downplaying our win against Bama. Out of curiousity, I looked up their all time record against the Tide. They are 2-38-1, with their only wins being in 1922 and 1997 (all in Lexington). Their fans certaintly wouldn't know what beating Bama is like.

I like it how the secret to winning this game is for them to control TOP but they literally controlled 3/4 of the game last season and still lost. Now they have a significantly worse OL and we have one of the best DL for stopping the run in the country. Yeah, keep hanging your hat on that one, guys.

If UK beats us that won’t be the reason why. Having UT-Martin there between let’s us reset back to business. Us fans will still be very high on it but the team will be back in their work routine for two weeks by then.

I respectfully disagree. To be honest, I can actually see them coming out too tight knowing what is at stake with a win. A loss will basically knock UT out of SEC East race and the playoff picture, and likely Hooker out of heisman.
