I still think that might be the most lopsided TOP/points margins I have ever seen. We had 4 touchdown drives in which none of them took more than 45 seconds. Crazy.

I hate to be Debby Downer, but despite my view that UT should roll over the MildCats, this game looks like a classic "trap" game to me and I will be concerned about the Vols looking ahead to Georgia until it is over. My prediction UT 41, KY 24. My fear, well you know... Go Vols!

Man they are very delusional. One of them claimed all you need to beat us is have a great defense with a good offense. They check off neither of those boxes. Their defense is pretty good, but it isn't as good as Alabama's was (particularly before they played us). Their offense is ranked 83rd, which is pretty bad. Their strength on offense (running the ball) is by far our strength on defense (stopping the run). We're 10th in the nation in rush defense at less than 100 ypg and 2.9 ypc, and that's against several very good running teams as well.

Agreed! Unfortunately, my (and other) predictions mean squat. A focused Tennessee team should win versus Kentucky, but everyone wearing orange has to bring his A game. Alabama should have won last Saturday based on a talent comparison. But they lost based on how the Vols actually played the game. That situation can apply to any team and, so, I'll be wringing my hands until Kentucky goes down -- as they should. I doubt I'm alone.

PS: If Neyland sounds anything like it did last weekend, Kentucky will have the same issues that helped doom the Bamers. Make it loud!

Normally I'd agree. KY still give me concerns because I see them more as a rival than Bama since they're an East Team, but Coach Hype and crew seem to have these guys in a every game is a big game and to not over look any one. It's Monday back to work mentality...
When we beat them I hope someone goes to that board and quotes that remark that we haven't beat'n anyone and post something like guess we'll add KY to that list...

Was waiting for this post lmao...knew we were roughly 15th on average, and that KY nor Vandy had ever cracked the top 30 as a 4 year composite in my 45 years on Earth . What a joke.
