These fellas, I like them, I really do. Don't want to spend too much time with them, but I appreciate their never-surrender mindset.

Fact is, 85% of Kentucky football fans are cowering in the corner.

These comments are from the other 15%. The ones who didn't finish high school, even though they were 17 years old when they got to 9th grade. You know, the ones who drove a crappy beat-up chevy impala to junior high, parked in the teachers' parking lot. Smelled funny. Didn't say much in any of their classes, but talked a lot of crap while selling weed out by the fence at the back of the playground.

Yeah. Those fellas.

It is not surprising that they don't make much sense. But I love their combativeness.

Go Vols!

The only reason our opponents D ranking is in the sixties is because they had to face our offense.

Even when they are winning, their focus is still on the fact Rajon Rondo has a great camera.

Why does every dumbazz fan base think that Miss St and Ole Miss run the same offense as we do? The LSU fans thought the same thing. We have beaten 4 ranked teams (only team in the country to do so) and still have the best offense in the country. Three of those ranked wins were without our best receiver. Kentucky has to be successful running the ball to win and our defense is one of the best in the country at stopping the run. They are also coming to Neyland for a sold out night game. The most rabid environment in the country to bring a team to play in. These delusional inbred motherfu**ers are in for a rude awakening.

This one right here LOL
-First of all UT has played and beaten no one. People tried to hype their OT win over Pitt as more than it was. Then they tried to hype the win over a last second win against Florida. Then they hyped a win over a HORRIBLE LSU team. Now they're over the moon about the worst Alabama team in Saban's tenure.

I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot and UK had beaten Pitt, UF, LSU, and bama, their fans would be calmly acknowledging that all those teams are just no good...

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times there is no such thing as a trap game with coach Heup the nature of his up tempo system and culture will not allow it… no matter who we play to run our offense we have to constantly be laser focused and on the same page no time to get relaxed or lazy because the next play is ready to be snapped… we have not had a single close game to an inferior opponent under heup and we won’t overlook UK at all… if y’all are betting ppl then jump all over UT -5.5 we are not a good matchup for UK they will not be able to run the ball consistently on us and they won’t be able to protect Levis on 3rd and long… I see this one being a blowout early.

Kentucky had probably their best opportunity to beat a decent UT team last year. I don’t think they have ever beat us when we were ranked, definitely not in recent history.

They actually had a great game plan. Tennessee had been exposed last year as having a fairly weak run defense, while still having a dangerous quick strike offense. Kentucky wasn’t a great matchup for us…..decent defense, with a good running game led by an excellent offensive line. They ran the ball pretty well with CRod, Smoke and some designed runs and bailouts from Levis. They used a ton of clock, having the ball for 46 minutes of game time. They put up points, 42. All in all, that should have worked. But, as has happened time and time again, the Vols under Hooker hit the quick strikes, gaining 33 yards per minute on Kentucky, and putting up 38 points on offense. Taylor housed a poorly thrown pass to add 7 from the defense. Vols win.

So what has happened this year? Tim Banks has fixed what was our single biggest defensive issue from last year. We now have a Top 10 (almost top 5) run defense. So, you have to throw to beat us, and we run a secondary scheme that makes it near impossible to get behind us. The “terrible Tennessee defense” gives up .288 points per play. The “Kentucky defense that is better than Bama” gives up .309. Bama is .260……not that we want facts to get in the way of Kat delusion.

So, statistically, how does Kentucky beat Tennessee? You have to run at least 50% more plays on offense, and you have to force the Vols into short yardage plays. Basically, you need to play like Tennessee. Bama played fast against us. Florida played fast against us. If either had been able to adjust to stop the deep ball, or if we had a QB with a little less talent than Heisman Hooker…..we would have been in trouble.

Kentucky’s chance was last year. It didn’t happen, and now the machine is even better on both sides of the ball, and Kentucky is far worse off. A defense that has shown no improvement, an offensive line that is getting Levis killed, and a run game that is about to run into a wall.

Can Kentucky win? Sure, but they’re going to need help from Tennessee to do it, and that help is a lot less likely to come with a thunderous, sold out Neyland at night. Sorry Kat’s, but you’re walking into a buzzsaw. A confident, battle tested, talented team that never quits with 100,000 plus screaming maniacs at their back. See you in Neyland.

Kentucky has no chance of beating Tennessee and they will be lucky if Tennessee doesn't beat them by more than 28 points.

Hopefully they'll leave Knoxville with some nice snapshops from Rajon Rondo to talk about after Tennessee leaves them making plans for Shreveport in December.

Agreed! Unfortunately, my (and other) predictions mean squat. A focused Tennessee team should win versus Kentucky, but everyone wearing orange has to bring his A game. Alabama should have won last Saturday based on a talent comparison. But they lost based on how the Vols actually played the game. That situation can apply to any team and, so, I'll be wringing my hands until Kentucky goes down -- as they should. I doubt I'm alone.

PS: If Neyland sounds anything like it did last weekend, Kentucky will have the same issues that helped doom the Bamers. Make it loud!
Needs to be 130 decibels for KY jellies.

I don’t see it as a trap game. I’m confident CJH will have them laser focused. He knows what’s at stake. The whole reason we’re 6-0 is why we’ll beat them handily
We are going to bust through the T wearing the Dark Mode jerseys and it's gonna be over.

I dont think trap games are going to be something we'll have to worry about.

The core tenet of Heupel's system is aggression.

We literally can't not he aggressive.

Kentucky is just gonna have to play like gods and hope we fumble inexplicably all over the field.
