What other message boards are saying (Playoff Edition) (Ohio State)

LMAO their fans make KY fans look like rocket scientist!!

-Let's not overlook Tennessee since this is Cooper 2.0 era we all know you can't spell Citrus without UT.

the only thing between the Buckeyes invitation into the Rose Bowl and a possible National Championship was their rival the Michigan Wolverines. However, running back Tim Biakabutuka led the Wolverines to a 31-23 upset, sending Northwestern to the Rose Bowl.

Then the Choke eyes went on to lose the Citrus Bowl to the Vols.

The Citrus Bowl is a Big Ten vs SEC matchup of which the Vols have an 83% (5-1) winning percentage
The Choke Eyes have a 24% winning percentage (1-3)

The Choke Eyes also are 1-13 over all in bowl games vs the SEC

And the icing on the cake. Ohio State vacated its 2011 Sugar Bowl victory over Arkansas due to NCAA violations. So they vacated their only win vs an SEC team.

RESPONSE ^^^^:

"Well, it might impact the game so there is that. But I guess since you aren't a Buckeye fan that wouldn't have occured to you. And I'm not sure I know what bawling is, but I think that's what your wife was doing at the holiday party with the janitor."
Theses guys are big on bringing in law enforcement when they get their ass kicked. Never seen a bigger cry to mommy bunch of wussies.

I was wondering through some of the posts on OSU boards and there was something odd about it. All the post are about themselves. Very few questions about the up coming team that they are getting ready to play. Then it hit me. All the posts are about themselves! Almost nothing about who they are going to face. The very few that mentioned us were worried about their team, but they all are predicting a 14 or more point victory. They know nothing about us. They don't care to know anything about us. It's like one big circle J***. That's the weirdest fanbase I have ever seen.

That actually describes more fan bases than you think, mostly in the north and northeast. Penn State and Notre Dame fans are the same way - the world revolves around their program. The pro sports fans here are the same way, especially in NY.

The SEC might beat each others' brains in and hate one another, but we also know each other inside and out. The Big 10 is such a top heavy joke that I'm not sure OSU or PSU fans could name more than half of the starting QB's in the conference.

They ain't seen our new football cleats.....

We should give out prizes for posts on this board and I will nominate this one for all of them.

I haven't really seen anything here breaking down their team either. most of the talk is based on how many Vols are going to be there, and complaining about the color of lights on our bridges.

I know the WRs are great, but Howard the QB has been shaky limiting the WRs. the RBs are insanely talented but have struggled with inconsistent OL blocking. not sure what formations they run, are they mostly a passing team or running team. is it old school football, spread attack. how often do they use trickery? Do they go to their tight ends and attack the middle of the field where we are weak?

on defense I know they are supposed to be stout all over, but couldn't tell you anything beyond that. 3-4, 4-3, 4-2? how often are they in a dime formation? do they blitz often? do they have a game wrecking DE? Man coverage vs zone? are they a bend but don't break team? do they create a lot of turnovers?

I’ve noticed the one thing that gets discussed by any Ohio State fan is that the weather will be tough for UT. I replied once pointing out that TN plays in the Smokies, not Florida, and that the temperature at the time of posting was only about 5 degrees different.

If the deciding factor(in your opinion) for the team you pull for is the weather then you might need to be worried.

Sorry if this video has been shared, but at 8:22 an Ohio State ex-coach says:

"I don't know who's going to block James Pearce. Ohio State has a left guard playing left tackle, and a right tackle that's stiff as a wedding dick." 🤣 🤣 🤣

When they aren't getting blown up by Pearce, Joseph's will eat.

Im worried Spraggins will plant our flag in the O if we beat them lmao... dude is a menace
Even if he wanted to plant a flag, I don't think it is possible to plant a flag in the artificial turf.
They may like the attempt, but I have not seen any rule which would indicate it is something that one should not do.

That doesn't mean it is a sportsman's like event.

And you can’t spell ****sucker without OSU
Ding ding ding….and you’re the next contestant on the Price is Right.

Nope, don't want this game to be played tomorrow-

1. We are pretty dinged up. Every off day we can get at this point is a blessing

2. The Suckeyes got embarrassed the last time they took the field. Every day they get to hear about how embarrassing losing to Michigan was etc. The more demoralized they are when they play us, honestly the better. Add that them being wound tighter than than a drum works in our favor
I can see this as cannon fodder on their boards Well done sir.

I think their point is that we travel around the south and play in warmer weather almost every week. They are correct, but unless their is ice on the field, I think the weather won't impact us any worse than them.

If you have turf and another teams tries to plant a flag, I think you should just point and laugh. They have to stand and hold it or let it fall.
