What other message boards are saying (the after South Carolina edition)

I'm all about clowning on some South Carolina fans but the injury to Hendon was non-Contact.
Was about to say the same thing. SCar had nothing to do with Hendon's injury. It was a freak accident and unfortunately is a part of the game.

I'm gonna disagree with #1.

Spencer may not be the source of the delusional, smarmy attitude SCjr currently has, but he is it's focal point.

Rattler isn't their biggest problem(that's Beamer). But, like a turd, he is a solid #2.
Rattler would be the starter here. That's just a fact. He's is far from their problem.

For me it's less about dislike as much as we lost to a mediocre football team. Their victory over us will probably look less like the norm against decent competition. They are more like the team we saw in the 2nd half against us, and the team vs Utah and Kentucky. The calls against us in the 2nd half and the non-calls snuffed out any comeback chance we had.
I'm always loathe to complain about officiating as any cause. It makes us look petty. How many times do fans (of any team) concede that they got multiple breaks from the zebras in a game?

Just saying.

I agree. Normally I don't but the officiating was excruciatingly painful that game. When Herbstreit and Fowler make mention of it then it's bad.

Two years in a row they made season ending injuries to two of our key players but we're the dirty program??

Meanwhile in Tennessee

"But to this day, as much as UT fans try to say their player did not try to hurt Marcus on purpose, I say that’s a lie. The big, defensive lineman had him stopped and wrapped up. I literally thought the ref was going to blow the whistle because forward motion had been stopped. Their defensive back comes flying in and launches himself at Marcus‘s knee. I’ve had this discussion with a few UT fans and they said you have to hit someone like ML low. I say it was a cheap shot on a back that was not going any further…totally uncalled for hit."

The comment on Rattler was a play on words, not and objective assessment of their football team.

As for Beamer, he is the head coach. The o line play and any other position group is ultimately at his feet. That's on top of several bone headed decisions last night. Even the refs couldn't believe some of the penalties he declined. He's Butch Jones with a worse personality.
You’ve clearly forgotten Jones’ toxic personality

They were down something like 7 O-linemen and their run game has been terrible. It was honestly closer than it should've been. If they don't have Mario Anderson and Trey Knox, it's a blowout.

I think that's the 2nd worst SEC team we'll face this year, though, so I don't want to read too much into it for us either. A&M is going to be a much tougher game. And the games @ Kentucky and @ Mizzou will also be tougher.
UK beat UF so there's that... though I think UT is a better team and choked badly against UF to include a really bad defensive gameplan... criminally bad... at least as bad as the plan vs USCe was good.

But Mizzou? They play LSU who should be pretty hacked off this week. I'm not buying either of those teams and especially considering their history of beating up on cupcakes only to fade.

Rattler is trash. He had a career night against us last year because of two things.
1. DL got 0 push and couldn't get off the field on 3rd down
2. Dbs got torched repeatedly.
He is what he always has been trash and a me first guy.

If you will look closely at the film, the DB was already in his go down take his legs out from under him when the lineman was getting his hands on him. In no way was ML already stopped. I hate that it happened, I have always hated the body check tackle at the knees or lower. Should be prohibited.

Darius Rucker is very pissed off tonight
After the way Hootie Dissed Tennessee last year at one of his concerts.i hope this LOSS to Tennessee this year burns like acid in his mouth just with one of the sacks Sat night would have been to him to let him know that if it weren't for the state of Tennessee (Nashville) and a huge majority of the people in that Gorgeous Stadium...Darius Rucker wouldn't be sh!%

Anyone can randomly select stats and make any narrative they want to make
Dumb post

So the all time series is slanted in Vols favor before our program was run into the ground and their program totally sucked, but the last 19 games are 10-9 Vols favor iirc with many competitive games. I don’t see how that is some sort of narrative or cherry picking anything.
