ESPN and national media kinda made it out that way.

Yeah, terrible tragedy as to what occurred with their school last year, but by the 2Q I was over hearing about it.

All about selling a narrative rather than looking at the X’s and O’s.

As a Vol living in Richmond, they got themselves all psyched up that they had a tiny chance. For three weeks, the local paper published a column on how the Cavs had a shot. Most reasonable UVA fans realized this was not true, but some drank the kool aid.

The Cavs fans at the game that we met were all excited to see the game and were very pleasant.

That or.. remember how everyone was mad UT for beating LSU after Katrina? Umm.. that’s not how this works 😂 We weren’t going to let them win because we felt bad for them, which we do

I swear ESPN gets off on talking about tragedy’s. I’m sorry that it happened but damn it got grating to listen to

Ha. Overrated? Tennessee may be a lot of things this year - but what I saw today was a team that is anything but overrated. Other than a brain freeze by the OC in the second quarter, UT beat UVA like UT teams used to beat teams that don’t really matter. Now we’ll see some overrated teams later tonight - but not the VOLS. GBO!
