What Other MessageBoards are Saying: Post Game Edition - Alabama

So hilarious and typical to see them blaming the loss on refs. Of course, admittedly I see some of our fans do the same thing. Yes, they had a ton of penalties, but I don't recall any of them being blatantly bad calls. Just makes it that much more sickening that these losers have had such a dominant team to pull for.

We're Back.

These posts and videos are amusing. Which calls exactly do they think were missed in UT's favor? There were at least two earlier PI's on Bama that were not called and were blatant. The PI in the end zone was obviously offensive but called on UT. The PI at the end was an easy and obvious call. Bama got away with holds all night or else Young would have been hammered for 5+ sacks.

They're mad because they're used to getting away with it. Reminds me of UNC or UK fans in basketball. They're so used to getting favorable officiating that straight up officiating causes them to say they've been cheated.

B!tch please! We will see your ass in Atlanta and guess what, we will hang another 52 plus on your ass because 4 of our starters will not be out & your sorry ass players will get flags thrown on them even more because it will be more frustrating that all the walk ins, 3 & 4*s are kicking your 5* whiny asses again!

Wil Anderson who?
5* db who

Not that I'm not taking a lot of pleasure out of their tantrum... but there's an element here that's actually "good" for them.

Heupel has talked since last year of moving from wishing to win to expecting to win. And the Vols have. But Bama has been there for years. A lot of what we're seeing is a team and a fanbase trying to rationalize the unthinkable... they actually got outplayed.

It isn't entirely bad when your program comes to the point where belief in you ability to win makes it nearly impossible to accept that you were actually outplayed and beaten.

As for Kentucky, scares me to death. Two weeks to prepare for our offense is an eternity. That's our greatest asset is our unfamiliarity. We're like preparing for the wishbone or Air Raid, the defense can't really adjust in a week. Kentucky, a defense oriented team, will be very ready for our scheme, as well as healthy with a bye week. I'm just glad the game is at Neyland, the crowd better be ready to bring it!!

NO 12:00 pm GAME!!
These teams have had an entire off-season to prepare for our offense and what has it gotten them? Kentucky is a lamb ready for the slaughter.
