What school in 2-5 years might have a Head Coach opening that Fulmer could land?

I wonder if anything might come open in Division 1 in the next few years, that Fulmer might be interested and would actually offer him the job?
You think Vandy or Ole Miss or possily Duke would give him a shot? Ole Miss and Duke both gave Cutcliffe an opportunity.

If a bcs conference school wanted to make him an offer, it would have happened by now.

Pretty sure I've heard him say that he was past his time. Doubt he'd seriously consider it any more.

The Cutcliffe name garners enough respect in the coaching community that he is sought out when jobs like those open up....

Plenty of in-state schools would love to have Phil as their HC, such as UTC, UTM, ETSU and that's about it.

Judging from the hiring model for their last two coaches, South Carolina will probably be calling in a couple of years.

ETSU hasn't had a football program since '03.
But, by the time another 5 years passes, Phil may find himself coaching Maryville High.

Have you ever seen another coach with at least 150 wins, a .750 winning percentage and a NC on his resume who can't even get a job coaching? That is the only proof needed to show he should have been canned after 2005.

UTC isn't close to a coaching change. Their new coach is a UTC alum and he has them playing .500 ball now, which is quite an improvement since they're usually the FCS version of Vanderbilt.

Yes we have been so much better without him!

Fulmer could have had a job if he wanted one. If he would have taken a job, he would no longer get his remaining buyout payments from UT. I heard he told interested schools he wanted them to pony up what he was still owed by UT plus a nice package. I personally think he was going to make Hamilton pay him every nickel or sit out and thats why he isnt working today. Do you guys really think Minnesota would rather have Jerry Kill than Fulmer? Any number of jobs could have been his if it werent for losing that hefty buyout.
