That was never our 3 after the Mizzou loss. Frankly it was just a Connecticut/UVA 3 that UVA probably lost in that Duke game. While tourney games usually don’t matter much, there is too much parity and volatility in the 3,4,5 lines that needed to be sorted. Oddly this may be one of the more equitable brackets in awhile. Most seem to see us getting started in Greensboro. Can’t complain about location. I see several brackets putting ISU in our line. They’re plenty tested. We can beat them on a good night, but not on a bad one.

The committee has shifted from sneaky leaks to a couple of sources to organized well-planned leaks to lots of sources. I think the brackets are going to look like the predictions at CBS/ESPN this year.

Well by looking at both brackets rather it be like Palms. Yale in first round and most likely Virginia in second that is winnable don't want to be near Kent St.

UVA vs UT might be a 20-22 game on paper, but I assure you Bennett will have us scouted. I like the matchups, but he’s a really smart coach.

We’ll end up a 7 seed. We haven’t been impressive at all since January. Bama is our only good win in the last 6 weeks.

Well go all in and say NIT their resume says a 3 or 4 it's the body of work not last 10 games like it was a few years ago

Both the network mouthpieces have us as a 4. The matrix says high 4. It’d be overcompensating if they dealt us a 5. Nothing is impossible, but not likely. Right now the big problem is geography. Too many teams trending up are East and South.

Lunardi has us as a 4. He is usually not more than 1 spot off in either direction. I voted us at 5 ... because we haven't been impressive at all away from home - even when that was on a neutral court in the state of Tennessee (Colorado). I'm guessing the committee will factor that into the equation.

I can see use as a 4 seed, I could also see us as a 5-6 seed with ZZ out. If they can punish us they will, ZZ injury could be the easy excuse.

We played like a 1/2-seed through January and an 8/9 seed since, plus lost our PG, and taking injuries into account is part of the selection & bracketing process. I’d say a 4 or 5-seed is very fair.

I argued with folks all day on this one—solid three-seed. Metrics say we're a 3. We've earned a 3. No one from behind us has done anything to bump us. Seven quad one wins. No quad 3 or 4 losses. Three top 10 wins (only Baylor can make that same claim). Two wins over top 5 teams (both will be one seeds).
Told ya the “human factor” would come into play and knock us down….

And nowhere do we ‘deserve’ an 8 seed. Pal. Nowhere….. seeding is t based on a month. And coincidentally….. we were without 3 of our best players for the majority or that month. Facts help with reading comprehension. Pal…..

Go back to elementary school for grammar, bub. Thanks for the ignore. Hope that means I won’t see anymore of your trash.
