There is a reason athletes can switch to and be fairly decent at it, while you will never see a golfer try to play basketball or football. Golf is the sport that guys that can't play real sports. IMO
I've never seen a pro football or pro basketball player play pro golf. Dustin Johnson can dunk. Is that athletic? I believe Gary Woodland was a good basketball player himself.
So Tiger is as athletic as LBJ? Trying to compare athletic ability is a joke. Hand eye coordination I'll give you, mental I'll give you. Then again Madden 13 requires those things too, so yeah.
Edit: I just saw where you said pro golf. Btw I didn't say they played pro golf.
Nobody has compared athletic ability of anybody that just seems to be happening in your little mind. Larry Bird wasn't very athletic. He's in the hall of fame.
You name 2 guys in golf that may or may not be athletic out of how many players? Then name one basketball player out of hundreds in the HOF. This definitely proves golfers are athletes. Keep reaching.

Obviously most human beings have some athletic ability. And I won't mention that you named the white NBA dude as not having athletic ability. Racist IMO
I wasn't trying to just prove golfers are athletes. I was disproving everybody in the NFL & NBA was by your definition. Nobody ever made it in golf by simply being 7 foot tall or weight 320 lbs. Being an athlete isn't just being able to dunk or run a 4.5 forty. I understand that's beyond your capacity.
Hell Shaq wasn't that great of an athlete he was just born into a huge body. He couldn't even become half ass mediocre at a basic fundamental like shooting free throws or shooting period. He dunked & blocked shots.
I never said everyone in the NBA and NFL was athletic, nor did I give a definition of what made someone athletic. So try again. Maybe the third time you respond to the same post will be better.
Edit: you were trying to prove golfers are athletes as you named 2 guys that are.
I just gave 2 examples of guys that were "athletic" based on your criteria. I was thinking the argument was over whether golf was a sport or not & you sidetracked to who's an athlete & who's not. That said guys you consider athletes should be able to quit their respective sport & dominate the PGA.

Lol. I'm sure he would've been able to do those same things if he were 5'8".
