What sports are stupid, and need to just go away?

Charles Barkley is a top 50 all time nba player. Can't play golf top save his life. Tony Romo is considered to be a good ametuer golfer. He has tried several times to qualify for the US Open and can't make the field.

Your argument is seriously flawed.

Put Phil in pads and see what happens.

I cant remember the last time i saw a golfer run 30 feet and dive to catch a golfball. Or outrun a throw from the tee box to the hole to score a run.

This would make golf exciting, have tiger trying to snag Rorys drive. Or they have to sprint to where the ball is while avoiding tacklers. Lol

There is a reason athletes can switch to and be fairly decent at it, while you will never see a golfer try to play basketball or football. Golf is the sport that guys that can't play real sports. IMO

I've never seen a pro football or pro basketball player play pro golf. Dustin Johnson can dunk. Is that athletic? I believe Gary Woodland was a good basketball player himself.

So Tiger is as athletic as LBJ? Trying to compare athletic ability is a joke. Hand eye coordination I'll give you, mental I'll give you. Then again Madden 13 requires those things too, so yeah.

Edit: I just saw where you said pro golf. Btw I didn't say they played pro golf.

My point is in high school, if you were a good athlete you played basketball, football and baseball. If you were not talented enough to do those 3 you played golf.

Nobody has compared athletic ability of anybody that just seems to be happening in your little mind. Larry Bird wasn't very athletic. He's in the hall of fame.

You name 2 guys in golf that may or may not be athletic out of how many players? Then name one basketball player out of hundreds in the HOF. This definitely proves golfers are athletes. Keep reaching.

Obviously every professional golfer there is has some athletic ability. If you swing & miss that still counts in case you didn't know.

I proved my point earlier. You proved you are just dumb.

No you just dodged the post cause you can't dispute what I said. It's cool, I'm sure you are still a legend in your own mind. Virtual high five, you get a participation badge! Lol

Obviously most human beings have some athletic ability. And I won't mention that you named the white NBA dude as not having athletic ability. Racist IMO

I wasn't trying to just prove golfers are athletes. I was disproving everybody in the NFL & NBA was by your definition. Nobody ever made it in golf by simply being 7 foot tall or weight 320 lbs. Being an athlete isn't just being able to dunk or run a 4.5 forty. I understand that's beyond your capacity.

Hell Shaq wasn't that great of an athlete he was just born into a huge body. He couldn't even become half ass mediocre at a basic fundamental like shooting free throws or shooting period. He dunked & blocked shots.

I never said everyone in the NBA and NFL was athletic, nor did I give a definition of what made someone athletic. So try again. Maybe the third time you respond to the same post will be better.

I agree lots of big men lack athletic ability and make it on size, which honestly drives me crazy. Shaq however was a really good athlete for his size, he was quick, could run the floor well, and had good hops early on. Now if you would have said Mark Eaton I would have agreed 100%.

I just gave 2 examples of guys that were "athletic" based on your criteria. I was thinking the argument was over whether golf was a sport or not & you sidetracked to who's an athlete & who's not. That said guys you consider athletes should be able to quit their respective sport & dominate the PGA.

I never gave a criteria, and you all were arguing over if they were athletic or not when I got here. You either can't read, have me confused with a different poster, or just flat out lie to help your argument. Which changes with every post. So and so is athletic cause he can dunk. Then you say being able to dunk isn't the only thing required to be athletic. Yet the golfer dunking makes him athletic. You argued that 2 golfers are athletic, but then say you haven't argued that golfers are athletic. Focus that might help.

Uh maybe you need to go watch some of his LSU highlights on YouTube. Saying he wasn't very athletic is one of the dumbest things ever posted on this board.

Lol. I'm sure he would've been able to do those same things if he were 5'8".

That makes absolutely no sense to what is being discussed. You said he wasn't athletic, the guy said he was, which shaq was. If any of the greats were 5'8 they wouldn't have done the same things as they did at their normal height. You reach WAY to much man.
