Did Janet attempt to sing a couple of weeks ago or did she lip sync 95% of the show like she did in Memphis?

First: Lolapalooza 96

Last: Old Crow Medicine Show

Worst: Korn and Puddle of Mudd in Roanoke

Best: Nine Inch Nails

Most surprising: NSYNC. They played Fun Fest in Kingsport like 2 weeks after their first big hit in the 90s. They tried to get out of it but the city made them play it. Went with my girlfriend at the time.

Loudest: Rage Against The Machine at Lolapalooza 96.

Next: Boys 2 Men. They are playing Fun Fest this year and the wife wants to go.

Seen the most: Korn (3 times)

Wish I could see: Pink Flyod with Roger Waters.

Craziest: The Bloodhound Gang, Cyprus Hill, and The ICP in Jersey.

Honorable Mentions: GWAR and The Reverend Horton Heat both at the Orange Peal in Asheville.

I’ve seen the Stones quite a few times going back to ‘89. The 2003 show in Vegas is my favorite.

First Concert: Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic at AMS infield IIRC.
Last Concert: Alabama. Make up concert at Gaylord last year.
Best Concert: Paul McCartney. GA Dome. 3 hours w/no opening act. 3 Encores. Even if you're not a fan, it was a superb concert to see live. Best concert for the money by far. Rod Stewart at Lakewood Amphitheater would be 2nd.
Worst Concert: Alabama. Not that it was bad, but Randy was really laid back and Martina opened. They juiced him up for the Saturday playing and he was all over the place. Had far better opener on Saturday. And I don't like how they did Mark Herndon, so...
Loudest Concert: Bon Jovi (Also one of those bands even if you don't really like you should see live). Close 2nd was Head East as they were in a small dive bar.
Seen the Most: All only once.
Most Surprising: Huey Lewis back in the 80's. His live shows were actually quite good.
Next Concert: U2 is my bucket list.
Wish I Could Have Seen: Journey in the hey day. Or Rush. Or Yes. Or Tom Petty. Or Mother's Finest...they still play and come to the cave in McMinville every spring. They are a must, greatest band you may have never heard of, and mostly still original lineup from the 70's.

I could probably count all my concerts on my fingers and have some left over though. Pretty sure I wnet to a concert at The Fox in ATL back in the 90's. Can't remember who, but any concert in that place is an acoustical treat.

only McCartney live show to see was in Atlanta, back of whatever venue Hawks used, in 2000. May not be the same show but it was well worth ticket price

Wish I Could Have Seen:
First: Some touring rock band in 1973 during school at Fulton High. I think they were sponsored by YoungLife. For $5 you got to miss the last half of school
Last: Eagles Hotel CA tour at TBA
Best: Elton John Farewell in Nashville -I’m shocked it’s the one but all those songs brought back so many memories
Worst: Chicago in Knoxville late 70s, because of the girl I was with
Loudest: Cheap Trick/ Joan Jet & Blackhearts at 1982 worlds Fair, we were less than 40’ from the largest speakers I’ve ever seen. My wife’s hair would move with the bass

The free Chicago show on campus came on heels of Chicago II release. It was easiest weekend ever to get date with member of Queens College, Converse and Hollins crews. Mrs AV took our son for Elton John farewell in STL. Very special for them because of the countless hours they spent together in the car.

The 75 Nicks/Buckingham version. Was their last tour as far as I know.

And believe it or the Jim Ed Brown show was great. I was a kid and we only had country stations growing up so i knew all the songs. I think the first FM Rock station in our area (we could receive reliably) was in '76 or '77 in Valdosta or Bainbridge. We were just on the outer edge of GULF104 in Tallahassee and could not get The Great Ape (AM) out of Jacksonville until we got south of Valdosta.

So one listened to C&W or sang harmony with the tractor.

Funny. One of the best I ever went to was Chicago in Valdosta (early 80s) because of the girl I was with.

EL MOCAMBO - The Rolling Stones | Official Website
my favorite live Stones album, with Ya-Ya's being the first
first live show was 72 in Coleman Coliseum with Stevie Wonder opening. Last was in Memphis, I think, somewhere around 2000
I heard that when Stevie Wonder opened for the Stones in Knoxville, many of the local Illuminati were screaming to get that blind, er, fellow off the stage and to bring on the Stones.
