Didn't say it would be enough, just merely saying if we lose to UGA that's it. Not convinced we will beat Vandy just yet. That game will be a dog fight. But win out and you at least have a shot. I'm not convinced LSU beats Bama next week.Winning out isn't enough. Also need LSU to lose once more. Otherwise, they and the winner of A&M-Texas beat us in the tie-breakers.
Since when are the running QB’s a bad match up for us? We shut down the best running QB in the country in Milroe. I think we can handle A&M and Vandys Running QB.WIN OUT. We match up well against Ms State and Georgia, but, OF COURSE, Beck will be play spot-on, so I am expect a nerve-wracking game. We do not match well against Vandy (running QB), but should out-athlete them. After we get to Atlanta, we do not match well against Texas and Tx A&M, but pretty good against the balance.
Yeah pretty much need to win out and everything takes care of itself. The Arkansas loss is a killer that can be erased by winning out. Otherwise it’s a hard blemish to overcome. Beating Georgia and Vandy will require TN to be at or near their full potential. And of course don’t overlook Ms State as a trap.easier to say win out
Is that accurate? I believe we would be in over Tx because although we had the same record against common conf opponents, we would have beat UGA while they lost to them which would be the "highest" placed common opponent. Now if A&M wins out, they got us in the tie breaker due to Arky. Same for LSU.Winning out isn't enough. Also need LSU to lose once more. Sorry Eze. That comment was meant for oldlofterReally! 1. a touchdown pass was dropped in the end zone 2. the slant pass across the middle was dropped that might have been a score .
Maybe you weren’t cheering loud enough

But see, it's a 3-way tie in this scenario: Vols, Tex, and LSU. And the opponents we ALL THREE have in common do not include UGa. They do include Arky.. LSU and Texas would be 4-0 against those common opponents, but the Vols would be 3-1.Is that accurate? Roger that, my bad. That would be the tie break for Atlanta but not for the playoffs. But see, it's a 3-way tie in this scenario: Vols, Tex, and LSU. Sadly, we need Bama's help beating LSU to get to the playoffs, under those circumstances.
Go Vols!

#2 isn't an option unless either Tx or A&M take an additional loss before they play and then go on to beat the other texas team giving them both 2 SEC losses.View attachment 693864If we win out, and the Horns-Aggies winner finishes with one conference loss, and LSU wins out, then we could be screwed. The three possibilities with UGA gone would be
1)Texas or A&M v LSU
2) LSU v Tennessee
3)Texas or A&M v Tennessee.
