I'd lead off with Dick Hammerbush. He's the LF for the Havana Hawks in 2054 when he slashes .420/.510/.690 with 63 HRs, 165 RBIs, 137 runs and 90 SB.
That’s is some heavy numbers. Never heard of him, though.

I actually did this last year during super duper quarantine. I did the alien/time machine theory. If we had to play against a group of aliens but we had a time machine and could grab any player from any season, how would it look. This was mine post segregation

I didn’t see that thread, but that is a nice lineup to play against those aliens.😂😂

SP - Pedro Martinez (2000). I still think that is one of the most remarkable seasons by a SP of all-time. He put up stats that are absolutely absurd in any era (including the current era) during the steroid era.

Nice list.

I’d have to slot Gehrig in at 1B though. His season with the ‘27 Yankees (Murderer’s Row) is one for the ages.

1B Lou Gehrig (1927) Age: 24
.373/.474/.765/1.204 220+
52 2B / 47 HR / 183 RBI / 447 TB / 147 Runs

It was an 11.8 WAR season

Did my list post 1947. No doubt Gehrig is a legend but totally different game
