Another thing to remember is that Riley recruits a lot of SoCal/West Coast kids anyway. Spencer Rattler is from Scottsdale, this Malachi Nelson kid who just decommitted from OU is from Los Angeles and I think there's little doubt where he's going.

I totally see why he did it. In fact now that he's made the move I'm surprised it was as big of a surprise as it was (to me included). He wants no part of the SEC, he didn't sign up to be a head coach in the SEC, and he gets to recruit against UCLA, Cal, Arizona, Arizona St, etc. for kids that he already recruits anyway. The only other recruiter he has to worry about is Cristobal/Oregon.

Only thing I would be interested in is the 3rd picture down, and you can find those anywhere.

Here's a little secret for you and only old schoolers realize. My name was established when Derrick Dooley was hired, and I decided I needed to live with it afterwards, so I had to do something productive with it.

Also, I prefer seventies boobs.
Psychologically, the same as tattoo remorse. Good for you for sticking with it. So many others have baled out on avatar names. What ever happened to Dobbs4Heisman anyway? To me, you are STILL about bra size, not Dooley.

California, in general gets a really bad rap, based primarily off of SF and LA. However, a good majority of California is very similar to the rest of the country. We have schools, churches and yes, Republicans. We live in Orange County, and when people from TN come to visit, they can't believe how normal California is. People see the homelessness in LA and SF and think that the whole state is like that. It's not. It'd be like someone visiting downtown Memphis and thinking that is how the whole state of TN is.

Riley will be living in a lush part of LA and will have plenty of money to enjoy himself here. You don't have to be a millionaire to live here. Does it help? Yes, but its not necessary. He has some of the best talent in his backyard and when the rest of the country is bundled up freezing during the winter, we will be in flip flops and heading to the beach. The weather and lifestyle here is truly hard to beat. He will have no problems recruiting and they will be back in the top 10 within 2 years.

There is a sliver of normalcy in cali, and it's a very small slice of the cake. cali even hates itself. The ****ing state wants to succeed from itself because it hates itself so much. That's true. North and south cali wants to be separate states. The funniest part is if they succeed, they will still leave. Only extremists, hollywood, and military live in cali.

I stayed in the SF area for about 2 weeks a few years back. Driving the interstate and highways there were parts where it reminded me a lot of Tennessee when you got outside the bigger city areas.

The one thing that smacked me in the face though was I arrived at San Jose in the afternoon and it was in the 80s. I had on a t-shirt and shorts. I then drove down to Monterey where we were staying on the beach. Rolled in about 8:00 PM, stepped out of the car and it was like 38 and the breeze off the ocean was freezing. Also while we were there it rained for 2 days and those people freaked the heck out. They had warnings on TV and cut in. We were in the lobby of one of our hotels and they were watching, and I said something like "Bad storms?" And the people were like "YES, the radar is crazy!" They showed it and it was like...all green and just a steady downpour. I laughed and said "Yeah.....that's not a storm....a storm is waking up and a tornado is going over your house and the next day the side of your house looks like someone shot at it from all the hail damage."

Almost as if overreactions and stereotypes by people who view Panama City Beach as an exotic vacation just aren’t true in the real world

I have a serious dislike of california, and I am in the middle of moving house, so probably not, but I make a valid point that has been built over years. screw cali.

Taxes, crime, cost of living, insane traffic congestion, smog, and crazy people. (I lived there for 8 years. Scenery, geography, entertainment, and climate are great though.)
Right now, outside of taxes (which are going up) and smog...this sounds like Knoxville.

Nobody watches west coast football at midnight. The only reason the rest of the world knows it exists at all is because of the media.
When USC was in their hey-day...The Bush/Leinart years, it was the best show to watch. Throw in Chip Kelly's Ducks, west coast football was innovative and fun to watch. If Chip can get the Bruins rolling and Riley starts lighting it up at USC, then those teams will be fun to watch. Hell I don't watch Big 10 games cause they're boring but I did watch UM v OSU.
