Whats the word from UVA?

That is a true statement. Vandy would probably beat them by two TDs.

That's not hate. They're just in a really bad place as a program right now. Some seems to be hoping that a transfer QB from an FCS program can save them.

MONMOUTH. Was the #375 Rated QB in his class year. I'd never heard of them if I didn't bet a little CBB. Prolly like a High school environment.

I read an article that basically said UVA was not prepping for Tennessee's offense in their camp. They ain't gonna know what hit 'em!
I admittedly have not looked, but they probably have a week 2 opponent that they have a better chance of beating, so they are focusing their resources there. They will take a hopefully forgettable 35 point beatdown into that game, and honestly, I would probably do the same thing. No one is holding anything against them if they lose by 35 to Tennessee.

I can't even pile on. I feel really bad for that team due to what happened late last season. Will be a tough thing for them playing first game since that tragedy. It was going to be hard enough from a football perspective. Hopefully they stay healthy and can bounce back after playing us and surprise someone. I don't think anyone expects them to compete against us, I just hate the things they've dealt with. This is one opponent that I can't get myself to dislike, in spite of obviously wanting to wn big.

Lavel Davis’ funeral was held in my church. He was from Dorchester, SC. Dorchester is LITERALLY a wide spot on the highway. The sheer love and respect Charleston showed to the Virginia football team and Lavel’s family made me proud to be a Southerner. Every where those team busses went, they had police escorts. Our kitchen ministry put out a repast worthy of a king. I’m not a Patriots fan, but their owner made the Patriots’ plane available to Virginia for traveling to the 3 funerals. Sure, as a Tennessee fan, I want to win the game handily. But, I will be a Cavaliers fan for the rest of their games!

Personally, I'll live and die a Volunteer, but if I couldn't, I'd be a Cavalier. My Daddy's family were all Virginians. Great academics, great tradition. I love 'em. Now, let's stomp them in the ground. We'll pick them up later.

Didn’t know you were a fellow MP resident. Where’s your local watering hole?

DC basically said UVA's 2 minute offense was equal to UT's offense. They are not going to know what hit them.

I understand that the word is out that they have a game in Nashville on Sept 2. Team is coming and some fans expected as well. Thats about all I have for the bleak interest in vurginyah bloggies

Mendenhall did them no favor by resigning. Elliott let the program get away from him last year and the transfer portal was not their friend. They're are a mess right now. Not a good time for them to meet the Vols and their fans know it.

That's not what the article said.. It said they weren't spending anymore time than they would against any other opponent.

What's UVA threads saying. ? I'm gonna look now,but thought some of you have some links..

Went to Hoos.com and they were predicting anywhere from 31 - 13 to 57 - 17 against Vols. Not going to rub anything in, because I remember all of the painful years before Heupel. I saw a video on YouTube on all of the bad losses for Tennessee since “FULMO” was fired. I am such a masochist (lover of pain) that I watched it. I know we have turned the corner now, so watching them reminded how far we have come in this the 3rd year of a great coach.
