What's the worst show ever on television?

No show real world problems, amd that you can't solve them quickly. Also not everyone being happy because its not realistic at all.

This is idiotic. It is realistic when your audience is under 5yo. Kids should be entertained when they watch and likely can't comprehend real world problems anyway

Clearly, firestorm LOVES tv. Unfortunately, most of his posts make no sense and he still doesn't know what the word "factually" means.

My posts do make sense, and I do know what the word factually means.

Again The Osbournes was unfiltered or uncontained. It's the Osbournes in ther real life.
It proves your complaint about reality tv shows to be wrong.

It's not idiotic to sell the bs that all problems need to solved immediately along with everyone should always be happy.
Mr.Rogers showed you can educate kids about problems while still having a positive lead character.

Aside from having to film around the daughter who lived in the house but refused to be on television?

I had to go back and look to see if I'd posted in this thread. All shows really, really suck, IMHO. That's just me. I don't know what's on the air now, but I doubt if anything would interest me. Haven't owned a TV, except for buying a 34" to use as a monitor, in 10+ years. I watch college sports on the internet and a movie now and then from Amazon. But, that's it. Probably hard for some to understand.

All of the "reality" shows are terrible. The only thing real about them is the money they make in advertising.

This is what you claim Ron.
A. That the only thing real about reality tv shows is the advertising.
B. All Reality tv shows are terrible.

There is a problem with point A. The Osbournes that was on MTV. This was unfiltered as there was no script, and it was shown roses and thorns. That's another way of saying the good and bad parts of Ozzy and his family.
This proves point a of yours to be wrong. Also I don't see anywhere in your post that indicates you are stating this as opinion. Instead it looks like your making a factual statement which is factually wrong for what you claim in point A.

Also you can't tell me that seeing a rock star living at his home, struggling with technology, and the rest of his family in their
everyday lives isnt entertaining.

Not the rest of his family. The eldest daughter refused to participate, and they had to pay to put her up in a hotel while filming, edit out any mention of her, and blur her face in family photos. How is that real?

Ok doesnt change that is ozzy and his family of where he lives and his everyday life. This includes Ozzy not able to successfuly use technology.
As I recall when this got brought up in the 2000s itgot brought up it's warts and all, also unscripted.

As long as there's an editor involved, nothing is unscripted.

His posts on "lies of Tv shows and movies" are pure comedy gold; even moreso because he's being 100% serious.

It astounds me how you find it funny when I list lies in entertainment.
Listing lies in entertainment is not a laughing matter from the US won the vietnam war which they didnt.

As long as there's an editor involved, nothing is unscripted.

That doesnt negate real information shown in the show.

A. It's where Ozzy and his family lives.
B. Ozzy vocal cords have been damaged due to the years of intense singing
C. It's Ozzy and his family which includes their legal names not aliases.

I could go on. Botton line there is real information shown in that reality tv show.

Not to me. Why would I waste my time watching some family struggling with anything. I can use that time wisely in my own pursuits of living and happiness.

Not a fact. You have presented nothing except your opinion as evidence.

Also you can't tell me that seeing a rock star living at his home, struggling with technology, and the rest of his family in their

Yes, I can tell you that it isn't entertaining. It's not entertaining to watch someone struggle with technology. I am not entertained by that.

Ok, I'll fall for the trap and attempt to engage you in conversation. I will most certainly regret this later, but I already have a lot of regrets.

As for point A: You have absolutely no way of knowing whether it was scripted or not. And no, the producers will not tell you the truth. Please, I implore you, look up what the word "fact" means. Please. If for nothing else, just do it as a personal favor to me. After a five second Google search I found this:
a dictionary said:
Fact: a thing that is indisputably the case.
"she lacks political experience—a fact that becomes clear when she appears in public"

synonyms: reality, actuality, certainty

antonyms: lie, fiction

used in discussing the significance of something that is the case.
noun: the fact that

"the real problem facing them is the fact that their funds are being cut"

a piece of information used as evidence or as part of a report or news article.

synonyms: detail, piece of information, particular, item, specific, element, point, factor, feature, characteristic, ingredient, circumstance, aspect, facet; information

"every fact was double-checked"

So, if the show was edited, at all, the producers were using a script to determine how they wanted the audience to perceive something. We know that it was edited because it is completely implausible to believe they only recorded 42 minutes of show for each episode.

Also, if you believe what was represented in that show is reality, for anyone, rockstar or not, you have a serious disconnection with reality.

So, since you are taking the side of a positive claim that something did indeed happen - unscripted reality. This puts the burden of proof on you. Please provide evidence of your claim. Also, look up what "evidence" means before carrying on. So far, the only fact you have presented is that there was a TV show called The Osbornes. You have not proven it was unscripted or "real" in any way, save that it used actual human beings as the characters.

I will stand by for your next jumbled mess of words that fail to present facts. Good luck and may God have mercy on your soul.

Again on the 2000s it was brought up it was warts and all, not scripted as in editing out things to give one a misleading idea a family is close to perfect.

But whatever Ron agree to disagree, and the ones I listed are not terrible unless we're talking your opinion.
You are a sad man and you have my pity.

This is true of every single reality show, Caitlyn Jenner's included. There has to be conflict, or no one watches.

The fact that there are tense moments or off-color comments doesn't make a show unscripted or realistic. Watching The Osbournes, you'd think (and I did) that they only have two children. How realistic is that?

I guarantee it was edited.

I'm sad because I hate reality tv? You must really love your stories.

I'm the opposite. I hate their politics but am fine with the show. I think most people that think it's an awful horrible show haven't watched it (or at least not objectively)

I've seen it several times and I don't get the appeal, and I support their religious and political views.
