I'm a construction superintendent. But to be honest, I am tired of working for a paycheck and feeling very unfulfilled during my day to day operations. I want to impact people. I want to love on people and show the the love of Christ. I don't think that is being a pastor (but God used a stuttering Moses who said he wasn't ready too so I won't say never). I have dreams of working in the mission field impacting people by building additions on church's and non profits. Smaller type organizations that can impact and love people better, if they had better assembly space and places to do their ministries. But where does that start? Seriously, does any one have any first hand information besides a Google search on how to start something like this?

You should think of hooking up with a group of Christian construction workers who go into churches and help offset their costs.

I think I took it exactly as she meant it. She laid out of work, not because she was sick, but because she didn't want to go. I haven't missed a day of work in years and when I did I was truly sick.
