He added one additional attempt to Tebow. The point stands, Jonathan Crompton did more against SEC competition last season than Tebow.

Ya know, Tebow should probably play both ways...after he plows through every linebacker in the SEC, he could play defense and knock out every quarterback in the league.

I simply do not understand what Tebow, as a true Freshmen last year playing behind Leak, could possibly have done better to prove his potential.

Yeah, he decimated LSU with that 9 carry, 35 yard performance. Is 3.9 a conference record for yards per carry in a game? I bet the Bayou Bengals won't even show up for the game in Baton Rouge this year, out of fear of being plowed over by Roboback.

I'd take Crompton. All I've seen Tebow do is throw jumpshots and a run quarterback draws in situatons tailored to ensure his success and alleviate any pressure to succeed. Crompton had Tennessee in a position to beat LSU by hitting two big deep throws, in a game where he was the primary quarterback.

I am still waiting to hear what it is that Tebow lacks. Or at least what there is about his play that objectively justifies the position that he will not turn out to be the dominant QB that the concensus (in the non-UF rival fanbase) makes him.
