Let me break it down a little better.
So, a team is dominated in the last 2 road games and has a road game against a suddenly “hot” team playing for bowl eligibility. In the last game the defense doesn’t show up and their are multiple rumors (throughout this board and other Vol boards )about locker room issues. Additionally we lose our qb with an ACL tear.
Now a sportscaster and analyst brings this up and picks the other team to win.
Somehow this is a surprise. Why?

Look, I understand being down on the Vols after we laid such a terrible egg against USCjr. But South Carolina recruits top 25 most years and has a former 5 star at QB plus Columbia is an underrated and tough place to play. They had underachieved up to that point in the year with the talent they had imo. Vandy has been hot the past 2 games and many here were worried that we wouldn't show up. Hooker's injury, blowout loss to the cocks, all these things factor in.
