We haven’t set the world on fire when playing on the road. Pitt is terrible and with their beat up backup qb it still took OT, we got LSU early and took advantage, Georgia drilled us and so did USCe.
Add rumors of a split locker room that, if you watched (or called) the game last week, look like they could be true. Taking all of that in, it shouldn’t be a big surprise that we weren’t pick to win by KH.
We had the chance to win 10 in 2016 as well and you know how that went. If you don’t, look it up.
Tennessee got a hell of a lot of love this year. Its amazing how hard some of you all look for something to bitch about.

I’m not sure how old you are but now that the Vols are relevant and you’re paying attention, you’ll realize that sometimes people pick against us. When we’re good, everyone is all in. When we’re bad, it’s the opposite. In addition, people who are paid for their opinions sometimes make snap judgements doing the same.
If you can’t deal with this and it bothers you so, turn off all media until the season is over.

Herbstreit is in Columbus tonight. Ohio State has a bunch of team dissent after the 22 point blowout at home. He is trying to help get it resolved before anyone can report on it!!!!😆🤣🤣😆

I could care less who he picks to win. He ran with a story and spread it as fact. The fact that he missed wildly on his pick is nothing new. They can’t pick games any better than the average sports fan. But if you make allegations like he did about team turmoil and predict them to lose your free bait for a response. It goes both ways. He could have just picked Vandy but he went to a place he would have never went too with other teams and he was wrong to boot. GBO!

You don't know he was wrong. It could have been fixed by CJH. Which I think is the educated guess. He was wrong that it wouldn't be fixed. Not that the fracture existed. Again, you never wrong at work? Fire you?

He had no business going there. If it was fixed that quick it wasn’t the big deal hyped by all the rumors made it out to be. I could care less who herb picks, I was actually glad he picked vandy. But they have a platform and if your out there yacking in today’s world expect a response when you mess up. It isn’t Herbs first time being a smart arse to Tennessee. He tried to scold Tennessee fans for getting Schiano removed from getting the Tennessee job. The same schiano that has a 12-22 record since that point. I think it turned out pretty good for Tennessee fans. It has nothing to do with picking Vandy. It has everything to do with him being arrogant and acting like he knows more than anybody else. By all means keep picking losers Herbie, carry on. GBO

I don’t care one way or the other about Herbie. I am grown up thank you. What brought being more successful up?? I never mentioned it, I got thick skin I make mistakes. Your defending Herbie awful hard. He trashed the entire fan base because some objected to the hiring of Schiano. He seems to have a axe to grind with Tennessee. He is a sports talking head he can say what he wants how he wants to say it. People also have the right to express their thoughts too. People are having fun giving him the business back he needs to be able to handle it. Maybe try to have a little class while doing his job. It’s not that big of deal, I certainly don’t sit around wondering what Herbstreit is doing or thinking. But when you throw shade at a fan base you better expect a reaction. I am done with this discussion. GBO

Herbie's remarks are not only harmful to the university they are a defamation of character to the university, the university should sue Herbie and have him prove his so called assertions of fact that is nothing more than here say.

It was a weak take for a guy like Herbstreit to run with. We've all heard the locker room rumors, but to go all in and say we were losing to Vandy was laughable. Still . . . let's not go full Johnnie Cochran.
