ummm, Caroline Kennedy is seeking the New York senate seat currently occupied by Hillary Clinton.

Massachusetts already has two senators, John "Lurch" Kerry and Ted "I can't drive over a bridge with a pregnant woman in the passenger seat" Kennedy.

Ted Kennedy has terminal brain cancer. If he dies I think Mass would elect her if she ran.

Just because certain members of your family were politicians (some very unjustly) does not mean you are qualified or fit to hold office.

I must have missed some recent discussions on this - is the question now whether she will be appointed from New York or run in Mass to replace Kennedy?

Do not put it past Markey to push for the Senate seat if it comes to an election...I would imagine their would be several serious contenders in an actual election...with Deval Patrick among them as well...

I said in the first sentence I didn't think she was qualified to be senator. How many times do I have to say that until you freaking read it? You want to pick one sentence out to argue over and ignore the rest of the post. You act like her family doesn't know anything about politics, her father was freaking President. But you act like she has no more knowlege about politics then a homeless guy on the street.

This is a woman that has spent most of her life staying away from the "family business" by her own choice. All of a sudden she wants in. That is what we all "disagree" on.

I've said before, but it bears repeating, Paris Hilton is far more articulate than Caroline. If you're going to have a vapid trust fund baby who's never worked an honest job in her life as Senator, why not choose someone who's at least easy on the eyes.
