Where are those morons who think Stoops is a good coach still?

I feel like he may have talked with a school and has silently agreed to a be their coach. He looks like he has mailed in the rest of the season.

Your hatred for Kentucky only pales in comparison to my hatred for the USCjr chickens.

He is the all-time wins leader in the history of Kentucky and took their program to unprecedented heights (by UK football standards) in the modern era. They’ve won 2 of the last 4 Citrus Bowls, both 10 win seasons. They regularly beat Florida, USCjr, Missouri, their west rival Miss St, etc, not to mention destroying us in Neyland 2 years ago. It would be disingenuous and a blatant disregard of reality to say he’s not a good coach.

Perhaps he moves on to Auburn or Nebraska where the ceiling is higher. I’m certain he is on the short list of both.

Led UK to the first 10 win season since 1977. First COACH from UK to win coach of the year since 1983. Consecutive bowl appearances. Some schools can’t be measured by championships and UK is one of them. Arguing he has done nothing for UK goes nowhere
Result of soft scheduling. Check out his SEC record which is behind UK’s historic average

Imagine getting on a TN message board just to try and disparage what Stoops has done at UK.
I’ll tell you what he has done. He is 65-57 at Kentucky. He is 32-49 in the SEC. His best record in the SEC is 5-3. Let that sink in, he has a 39% winning percentage in the SEC. Stell me how great a coach he is.

How much of that is from coming into a crap program? What was his record year 1 and 2? He has some of the biggest wins in UL history and took them to heights they haven’t seen since the bear. Scheduling be damned. You play in the SEC.
