Where Coke Tastes So Good

You'll notice in Mexican restaurants that the soft drinks are sweeter and less fizzy. This is, so I'm told, because they mix them heavier on syrup and lighter on carbonation. For me, you can't beat a Dr. Pepper at a Mexican restaurant.

Truth. La Fiesta's diet coke even tastes awesome.

Best soda I ever had was on my senior trip to Jamaica. At that time (2001), everything was still in glass bottles. I don't even like Pepsi, but that's what the hotel had. I was hooked after one. That stuff was AMAZING. God only knows how well the bottles were washed or what was in the mix but good Lord that stuff was the best.

Now I'm going to have to try a Dr Pepper the next time I visit my local mexican place. I'm wondering if they even have it as an option.

Same here. I always ask for no ice if I go use the drive-thru

I always ask for light ice since they tend to fill the cup up with ice. I like eating the ice afterwards, but not as much as they normally put in.

Yes! I do the same now. These places like to fill the whole cup with ice and then put a cup and a half of soda in it.

I love pellet ice! I wish they'd start putting pellet ice makers inside refrigerators.
