i think it started when hamilton didn't make fulmer make changes in the coaching staff. and it ended when hamilton didn't fire fulmer for not making changes in his staff.

Not having a QB step up. The 2 QB system offers no stability for the competing Qb's. Not a confidence booster by any means! That is the problem with UT's offense. An argument can be made that neither was cut out to be a SEC QB!

The season is shot because RS and CPF could not agree on a starting QB. Instead of following his instincts, CPF let RS lead him down a desolate road with Rick Clausen.

Ainge should have been getting every rep just as soon as he could throw the ball again, but instead, he had to share them with a Clausen. If you have two QBs then you don't really have ONE.

Ainge has no timing with the receivers, all because of RS and Clausens popularity.

CPF have let a sorry player and the PLAYERS who support him, hijack this freaking team.

just looking at both Clausen and Ainges faces when they are yanked out of the game for screwing up.It's obvious that Ainge nor Clausen can deal with it.Clausen gets pissed off and Ainge gets depressed.

Dissension and excuses follow the Clausens around like stink on ...

It is ridiculous that he was ever named a starter, and he has taken valuable practice time away from Ainge. Time he will never get back.

Does anyone else think that Fulmer is sticking with Rick Clausen in hopes of getting Jimmy Clausen to come to UT?

Ainge looked better than Clausen tonight.....He moved us tonight while Clausen couldn't when he got his shot

Please keep your Clausen butt in Cali Jimmy. I can't take another Clausen.

i think the only reason RC was allowed to transfer to UT was to get a shot at younger brother Jimmy.

I think some of it started when a young UT team over achieved last yr and made the SECCG..thats when the hype started.

I disagree NCG.......It all happened when we dominated Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl...I even said it myself "This is nothing but a preview of next year".....Boy was I wrong

That is true NC. The problem is that we have digressed. Offense is nowhere nearly as good as last year.

I personally thought UT was one or two years away from a serious title run, but now there is not one in sight.

Sadly, I'm just about to the point where I would pull for that kind of person if they could make plays. Our offense is that bad....

This season is the result of poor coaching, poor discipline, poor execution, and poor luck.

I would say it started in the summer of 1999 and talent has bailed us out from suffering the meltdown we see this year.

I was thinking tonight that this season is last season except we aren't getting any breaks at all. We didn't exactly dominate last year.

We need a QB though. Neither Ainge or Clausen can get it done. Tonight, nobody can blame the special teams. It's all on the offense.

Your savior is wearing a redshirt and a sling on the sidelines. This team will finally be motivated next year.
