UGA
Um
OSU
Bama
TCU
Clemson
Vols
Kansas State
Penn State
USC or Utah (can’t decide)

Not my view, but what I think committee will do. Clemson rationale will be they are better now with this QB.

Tennessee (We) are the Orange Headed Step Child of the SEC.

Nobody is going to step up for us when you have Alabama, Georgia, even LSU/Texas A&M in the mix of things.

Given a choice by the SEC Commish and Staff those programs will always be pushed above us no matter what we do or what they don't do to earn it.

This attitude carries over into the CFP, Polls/Rankings and media. We can ride a way with success but once we falter they drop us like a rock.

My thoughts would be that had we beat USCe we would have been still out of the CFP because there would have been some reasoning to keep TCU & Ohio State in the mix. Had USC won or Clemson beat USCe we may have been out as well.

It is going to take a Division and Conference Championship to earn the SECs support and it may take more than one.

We are the Sacrificial Lamb of the SEC.

I see this as possible:

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. TCU
5. Bama
6. TN
7. Penn State
8. Clemson
9. Utah
10. Kansas State
11. USC

There is just no place to really move Utah and Kansas State with 8, 9, and 10 interchangeable. I think to save themselves some explaining and controversy they leave TCU in.

If the value Bama like they do based on all the conversation - they do not drop a team that beat them.

Now they could go really crazy due to the losses and attempt to move Kansas State and Utah above the teams they beat. They would then move all the 2 loss teams up that either did not lose or won and place the 3 loss teams behind them then place TCU and USC.

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. Bama
5. TN
6. PSU
7. Clemson
8. Utah
9. Kansas State
10. TCU
11. USC
I think your first list is correct, except I would swap TCU and Ohio St. The Buckeyes should not jump the Frogs.

If I had to guess, Tennessee will get screwed and be ranked 5th sending us to the crappy Sugar Bowl instead of the Orange Bowl

Committee owes a complete vote by 10, and nothing yet. Usually it’s done by the night before. Obviously some fighting going on.

Well Utah has beaten USC twice this season after yesterday. I understand Bama ahead of UT at this point (but it would surely grate on me if I cared), but to rank a team behind another team that it has beaten twice? Surely not.

I don’t get the Ohio love from even our fans. Why they are not floating around 8-9 is beyond me. They played nobody. They lost at home to the only truly good team they played by three scores. Their notre dame win took a dump with usc boat racing them. Penn state played the other 2 teams in their conference that has a pulse and lost and only beat a bottom of sec team. The whole narrative before Ohio/mich game was they had played nobody, and the loser would drop significantly. We dropped from 1 to 5 losing to a higher ranked team at their house. They should have dropped at least 6-8 spots losing at home that way.

So you think the committee will put OSU vs Michigan again, right away?

Who knows? The closer we get to noon the more I think the Dr Pepper Conspiracy might win out. They can't leave TCU at 3 less than 24 hours after a loss.

Im seriously interested in how they treat the new conference champions. How close do they have Bama, UT, and Clemson in their secret rankings? What kind of bump does K St get for beating #3? If TCU stays at #3 then K St has a helluva "best win" on their resume.
