Top 6 will be:
Georgia
Michigan
TCU
OSU
Alabama
Tennessee
In that order…I don’t think the committee will want an OSU/Michigan rematch, and they can justify not dropping TCU because they lost in OT.
If Tennessee doesn't belong because of the SC loss, Bama doesn't belong for losing to a team that got beat by SC. I'm also not buying the Hooker injury part because Tennessee just beat a hot Vandy team by more than Bama did (with a backup QB). I get it, losing to SC is unforgivable. I'm not trying to make a case for us getting in. Ijs if we're truly looking at the full body of work from the entire season for everyone in the top 10. Our resume is top 4. The only thing keeping us out is the 2nd loss. It should be the same for Bama. We played a tougher schedule, went 5-1 vs ranked opponents, & had 2 road losses like they did. If you want to bring up how we lost to SC than u have to bring up how we beat LSU by more points than anybody this year (including UGA) at their house. IMO UGA & Mich are the clear cut teams that deserve to be in. Everyone else is debatable wether they have 1 loss or 2 because the schedules aren't equal. My issue with TCUis who have they played?
That is issue number one.
Issue two is how did they do against who they did play?
They have been challenged by a lacking schedule all year.
Michigan and Ohio State have a little bit better case on who they have played, but still extremely weak schedules.
However, both Michigan and Ohio State won much more convincingly than TCU against the less than stellar competition.
Tennessee does not belong due to Hookers injury and the South Carolina loss.
I get the argument that we should be in over Bama, but with Hookers injury we are not the same team that beat them.
I hate to say it, but I do think that it should be Georgia, Michigan, Alabama and Ohio State in that order.
But, I think it will be TCU instead of Bama and I totally disagree with that.
I watched some of TCU’s game yesterday and neither team would have finished 3rd in either the East or West of the SEC this year.
What baffles me in all of this, Alabama basically finished 4th in the SEC but now they’re 5th in the countryI see this as possible:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. TCU
5. Bama
6. TN
7. Penn State
8. Clemson
9. Utah
10. Kansas State
11. USC
There is just no place to really move Utah and Kansas State with 8, 9, and 10 interchangeable. I think to save themselves some explaining and controversy they leave TCU in.
If the value Bama like they do based on all the conversation - they do not drop a team that beat them.
Now they could go really crazy due to the losses and attempt to move Kansas State and Utah above the teams they beat. They would then move all the 2 loss teams up that either did not lose or won and place the 3 loss teams behind them then place TCU and USC.
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. Bama
5. TN
6. PSU
7. Clemson
8. Utah
9. Kansas State
10. TCU
11. USC

I hear you, but a loss to Tennessee by a last second field goal or LSU in overtime are small losses by good teams.
A loss to South Carolina is much worse than either of their losses and we got boat raced to boot it all.
You have good victories that mean more than others, correct, then is not a loss to a bad team not worse than other losses to good teams?
That South Carolina loss was an anchor around our necks and then throw in Hookers injury on top of it and it makes it that much worse, especially when he got injured so late in the game that you can’t pin the loss on it.
Marty Smith reporting at Bama during the announcement. Nothing about TN. Unreal the bias bs
My son and I have gone around and around about the Bama/ TN rankings. I’ll go to my grave saying TN should be number 5 lol.
Does not mean that Bama has any right to be ahead of TN in the rankings. That's a travestyI hear you, but a loss to Tennessee by a last second field goal or LSU in overtime are small losses by good teams.

You sound just like my sonHopefully it doesn't take years off your life. I am as big of a UT fan as it gets but I'm also fairly objective. The South Carolina game was too brutal to ignore. The committee doesn't just look at head to head....period. That is too simplistic and short sighted. It's when, where, how, etc. All those adverbs and adjectives along with the outcome.
I suspect UGA would prefer to play TCU in the first round rather than OSU. But, the committee might want to award TCU for playing in their conference championship over OSU who did not.
