Starting from the beginning might be hard. It's good stuff, but the show was on a shoestring budget and didn't really hit its stride until season 3. It didn't even have Devito in season 1. Seasons 5-10 were an unbelievable run of comedy. If you wanna like it, you should watch some of the best episodes first, and then start it from the beginning after you are a fan. Knowing the history of the show makes everything better, but you should still find these episodes entertaining without historical context. Here are the top 15 IMDB episodes and I crossed off a few I would skip until you know the show pretty well.

I feel the weight of unbearable shame. I'm a really big Coen Bros fan and in all these years of seeing your name on here I never once picked up on that.

I should suspend myself from their next two films as punishment. But I won't.

It's a real deep cut. I've been on here over a decade and I think 2 put people have put it together.
