When they are one in the same, why does it matter? I would rather know how bad things are then false hope.

not true - Saban still had the #10 recruiting class in the transition year, and Meyer's bunch was #7 in the country.

nonetheless - I certainly do hope we can pull/keep some of the top name recruits Kiffin is working on. (Moses, Stokes, Teague, etc.)

also each one had the ability to do so by signing in-state guys. do not judge CLK on what happens this year.

maybe not but with the "staff" he is supposed to put together..."eventually"...be patient....how can we not expect him to have incredible recruiting class.

so far it is a disappointment.

We will still get by with a decent class. Remember all of the JUCO kids on nobody's radar before this year. Being from illinois and checking out their boards I saw they just picked up two 3 star linebackers who look very good. We never know if CLK is looking at some unknown JUCO kids that could turn out to be studs.

Kiffin was at Rhea County High School today... I guess he was here to talk to Kevin Revis. I already got my CLK autograph!

CLK has been brought in much earlier then both Saban and Meyer.

Still, I think he needs time because he doesn't have the name recognition yet. That will come. He should have at least 5 years to make things happen.

This is my favorite thread on VN. I love the idea that every move this guy makes we have eyes on him. I hope Kif can bring in some OL prospects and a couple of game breaking WRs would help greatly.

This is like the "where is kiffin today thread," but this is for the rest of the staff (O, Monte, etc.).

Monte and O will be in Memphis Monday, but Ihavnt heard anything on Chaney.
