Where is Kiffin today?

We dont even know the truth behind this story and your jumping on Kiffin. why dont you shut up and listen before you make a fool out of yourself

When Kiffin took over two weeks ago Giles was already considered a loss, he actually made up ground. Herbert's been looking around awhile now, you can blame UFs success more than you can blame Kiffin for this one. He's also secured Gordon, who Fulmer completely missed on, within a week.

If anybody seriously expected Kiffin to come in and be pulling 4 and 5 star recruits a month in, they were just asking to be disapointed. We've lost one player since Kiffin has been here, and he was considered a softie in the first place..

Bingo.

It's only been 2 frickin weeks. Give the guy a break (and a year or two) before you jump on the Kiffin sucks bandwagon.

It's just natural for people to start freaking out when things go downhill immediately. Especially when they rather say "I told you so" rather than want him to succeed

and was Kiffin interested in Meeks?

No telling with Kiffin...I'm not saying the guy won't get it done, I guess I was expecting him to reel in the guys that were heavily considering us(Stokes, Herbert, Giles)due to his recruiting "prowess". He might end up landing White, Moses, Brown, Teague, Lowery, etc. I don't like seeing the guys that were once "ours" get away. If he is having to go after guys that are "new" recruits, he is really going to be playing catch up, as opposed to these guys that were already on our board. That being said, of course I want him to succeed...that's why i voice concern over him losing(possibly Stokes)these guys.

I second that concern. I have faith in his determination and effort, but I just worry that won't be enough to change the face of recruiting in the SEC, especially against guys like Meyer, Saban, Richt, and Miles. Gordon is a start, but I'm still wanting to see more results

But how can we judge this after 2 weeks? Or even after this year's signing period?

It only seems fair that he be judged against that competition when things are more equal and they've all had equal time to recruit.

Thus, IMO, it makes more sense to judge him after next year's signing day than this year's.

Calm down people...it's the 4th quarter in the '09 recruiting season...I said in another thread somewhere that some of these kids have been talking to these other schools for a year or more where Kiffin has had 2 weeks...this class will still be better than the '08 class. You can bet on that...plus I think it will end up being in at least the top 20 if not top 10...Go Vols...oh and where is Kiffin going tomorrow? Anybody know?

We will win more games next year and I will be suprised if we dont have a top 5 class next year.

I don't think we will get a QB this year but we need to land some good ones. I fell like Crompton may work harder than any1 in the nation to prove himself. This year may have been good for him to make him humble and know what he has to do. (Pipe Dream? haha)

I agree so many people are flipping out.
Think back to Saban and Meyer they didnt have great classes when they took over. In fact If CLK doesnt sign anymore then his class may be better than both of there first classes.

Kiffin could put in more time recruiting if he didn't have to spend so much time at Posi's house convincing him he was the right hire. Because he really cares.

:lolabove:
And when he gets done he has to go to 5150's house.
Man we ain't never gonna get a top 10 class at this rate.
:eek:lol:

Don't know, but the Plane has been to Paris Tn, Memphis, Tn., Atlanta, Tallahassee in the last few days and it's currently in Memphis.

Atlanta could be Myles, and Tallahassee could be Corey Gaines the DT. We need the help in the trenches. I like what I'm seeing

I don't have a subscription to Scout.com but I saw on the Tennessee recruiting page that Alabama 5 star WR/Ath Kendall Kelly had narrowed his college choices to four. If anyone happens to know what these four schools were I would be much obliged.:hi:
