Where is Nico likely to land?

I predict within 3 years Nico will have blown through his money. He is more like Johnny Football than Peyton Manning. What an idiot.
Some say he (or his fam and entourage) have already blown through the money and owe the IRS on top of it all. Could have been the driver for the $4mil ask.

I was just thinking about the tax part of this. that tax rate is BRUTAL.
His family has maintained the California home I understand. Nico’s primary residence has probably been California all along. They’ve been paying the taxes but he’s got like 8-9 dependents. I’m not claiming to be a tax expert but it’s probably not the killer we think it is. All of this is contingent on them filing taxes. Wouldn’t be surprised Nic hasn’t done it.

Despite what those schools are saying, it is still possible that Nico could get more money from North Carolina, USC, or Oregon. They would have to decide if he is worth it after looking at his stats and film. That's a big if, IMO.

You can have dual residency. You just to be “able to prove” you live in TN 6 months +1 day to get that tax dodge.

Steve-O did a whole explainer when he “moved“ to his farm in Portland, TN lol

It’s just been reported that Belichick has no interest in Nico.

I have thought for days that UCLA is where he will end up. They have Jack all to surround him though. Gonna be a looooonnnnngggggg season at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA has money. Tons of it. They (and their boosters) just don't spend it on football. I can't really blame them at this point. They keep falling upward just by being in LA. No need to spend big $ to actually be good.

They will end up paying Nico around $1.5 million.

If I was Nico, I would be rather peeved about getting a huge pay cut (plus paying Cali taxes) plus spending 50% of my playing time on my back in the cold? No thanks pops.
Not only that, he has reportedly hired an agent where he didn't have one before. That is going to cost him between 15-25% of his total NIL package.

Been hearing alot of teams are out on Nico unless they can get him for around 1 mil

My guess he lands on the couch but someone will probably pick him up either way.

I mean honestly-I don't care at this point if he goes broke. A 30 for 30 on the whole ordeal seems inevitable at this point anyway.

Kind of surprised SEC Shorts didn't put out one yesterday making fun of the situation.

I suspect that most people had concerns about Nico's performance starting after the Arky game last year. Those concerns just got shouted down.
